I actually agree with you. Lin's a good player but he doesn't have a lot of trade value with that balloon payment next year.

But now is the time to trade him because he will be harder to move later when we might need the cap space for a big FA signing.

In Morey, we trust.

No offense to anyone in this thread, but I thought this thread was supposed to be a depository for (remotely legit) trade rumors, tweets and updates on the Omer Asik trade situation, not for random trade ideas involving Asik, Lin or anyone else. For that, we have both the Random Trade Idea thread and the ClutchFans Asik Trade Possibilities Podcast thread that has essentially become a random Asik trade idea thread.

I keep checking in on this thread looking for updates, then I have to wade through 3-4 pages worth of people spouting off random trade ideas and/or arguing with one another.

In order to avoid parallel Asik trade threads, neither of which is extremely helpful to those checking in for legit updates, I kindly ask that posters post their random trade ideas in the aforementioned appropriate threads. This way, this thread will be able to provide all of us with the updates we so desperately crave.

Let me just emphasize that ANYONE can sign up and write an article there. It's bogus.

 

He just had to say no Asik first then no Lin... maybe I am reading into this too much.

Well, based on you're logic....Asik would be the more valuable asset. I will say we agree to disagree, but I do want to put out there that if you put Asik on last years King's team...they lose more games than they did. If you put Cousins on last year's Rocket's team, we beat OKC without westbrook.

That is a complete opinion so I understand if that isn't a strong argument.
