No way Jones and Asik for Millsap happens. No way.

Jones's value has increased a ton as of late. Asik holds comparable value to Millsap.

If we're not getting Spencer Hawes, then I am very disappointed in Morey.

Nah we need to add millsap without losing much more than asik to get better though. I like a 3 man rotation in the front of Dwight/Tjones/millsap and a 3 man rotation in the backcourt with Lin/Bev/Harden. Would be nice to add one more piece to back - up parsons and give minutes against bigger SG for our rotation, but one step at a time.

yeah the GSW board is probably the worst team board out there. No organization at all, it's more of a random comments section than a discussion board

Are you saying bad deal for rockets or hawks. To me any deal landing millsap outside if trading lin unless we receive a point guard in exchange is a good deal. We have Greg smith and donta?

Agreed 100%. I frequent the SBnation boards for different teams which is a quick way to jump around the league and see different fan perspectives. As you would expect everyone overrates their players. Hawks and Celtics fans have been very high on Asik while Sixers and Cavs fans don't feel he is a need.

Bad deal for the Rockets. They'd probably only get a combination of Jones and Asik from us if they were entertaining a combo offer of Jones, Lin, and Asik for Horford.

I would love Bosh. Basketball reasons aside, think of all the extra entertainment that would bring.

Whole heartdly disagree. A consistent veteran who scores 20 ppg and can spread the floor for dwight is worth jones + asik. Millsap is the better player technically but when it comes to position you could say asik is more rare.

Jones and Asik as a combination can get us far more then Millsap. You could probably switch Jones with Lin and get Jeff Teague and Millsap or Loul Williams with Millsap.

@ESPNSteinLine: Important footnote to keep in mind if Boston does jump into the eventual Omer Asik deal so many folks expect to involve at least 3 teams ...

@ESPNSteinLine: Celtics are a little less than $135,000 under the luxury-tax line ... so that will undoubtedly factor into anything they decide to do

The other good thing about Bosh is that he is used to playing with two other MAJOR players on his team. So he can fill in quite well having that experience.
