Maybe he's saying one of the rumors that's been out there so far is true?

I'm going with him saying that one of the rumors out there is true, and will most likely happen.

Lol Ikr. It has to be paul millsap. Millsap = Lebron stopper. In which I mean millsap and howard in the paint takes away lebrons inside game. Millsap can also guard Lebron sometimes. But adding millsap is great he's a cheap contract for who he is. N we can drop him in 2 years for a better opition if needed. If I were rockets is nearly give away the whole dam team for him. Besides harden, parsons and dwight of coarse

I hate to see milsap go but hell this is a deal we can't pass up. So lets look and compare:

THE GOOD OF THE ASIK TRADE

-Good rim protector (man is that needed)
-Great rebounder (man is that needed)
-Will improve the whole teams defense (Thats a sure thing)
-Will improve Horford's rebounds (Thats a sure thing)
-Will possibly improve Horford's points now that horford is being guarded by players that are more his size; he's dropping 17 a game on players bigger than him <---- thats impressive! I'm wondering what happens if he slides down to the 4….hmmm maybe horford can give us a 20 points on a avg at the 4.

THE BAD OF THE ASIK TRADE

-I like Asik but the only way he's helping the offense is by allowing horford to move to the 4! He's no milsap offensively so the nights when Teague and Horford are struggling those are going to be some UGLY games offensively!

    CONCLUSION:

All in all this trade benefits Horford's overall game and our teams overall defense. So I would say that as far as wins & losses we could improve and be able to win a couple of more games but not by a lot. I believe Asiks presence will allow us to have more of an opportunity to win more games just because of his defense and rebounding ability (and thats no knock on milsap, he can't help his size). But on the other hand Teague and Horford will have to take on an even huger scoring load with Milsap gone at least until Lou is healthier. Now that may not be a problem for Horford offensively but its no telling how Asik will affect teague on offense.

I will say this squawkers this is a really, really tough decision for Ferry and I know its driving him nuts! Its no question we will become a better defensive and rebounding team without a doubt! BUT you have to factor in that our offense has a huge chance of dropping with milsap gone. The only reason I say Ferry should pull the trigger is because I don't like the upcoming free agency and to be honest even if the hawks had all the cap in the world I don't think they will pull off any big free agent signings and not only that Asik happens to be better than the available centers in this upcoming free agency. I say go ahead and take on this poison pill contract and when Asiks contract is over which will be the next free agency you will see that there are a ton and I mean a ton of players that the hawks could possibly land. So get Asik now so that we will have the upper hand on keeping him in 2 years. He will only be 29 and as we all know its already hard enough to find rim protectors and rebounders.

Then again and yes Im doubting my every word because I know how valuable Milsap is on offense but I also know we NEED defense and rebounding center. This really boils down to Ferry and Bud on how much faith they have in Teague and Horford's offense ability and when Lou will be healthy. (Maybe Terrance Jones could be a starter by the way, he looks like if he is given starter minutes he can score at least 12-14 points a game). <<<<< what one of many hawks think. They wouldn't mind omer asik millsap trade but they want additional players included. Which I think is fair. T-jones and Omer for millsap

I mean, they're really bad. GSW's board is virtually unreadable, and I simply couldn't bring myself to post on a site called Hawk Squawk.
