For what it's worth, profootball focus graded Cousins with a -0.1 grade yesterday in passing situations...a score of 0 is average. Overall, for the season, Cousins has a grade of -4.7 in over 100 snaps...which shows that despite some nice throws, he has been a below average QB.
going back and watching the game on nfl rewind, he had at least 2 more throws that should have been picked
I should probably include RGIII's overall grade as well from PFF...he has graded out to a -3.6 for the season.

Not saying Cousins is the one...but so what? What does the situation matter? If he is the right guy, who cares if we trade him for a couple 2nds? They drafted David Carr with the first pick...should they avoid doing that (drafting a qb) again because he was a failure?
Griffin puts up one of the best rookie seasons of all time, leads the Redskins to their first divison tite to over a decade as well as Shanahan's only winning season in his 4 year tenure, has the Skins 14-0 up against the Seahawks, suffers a devastating injury, returns early and has down year. It's a shame Black QB's don't get the same leeway their white counterparts do. They've already assassinated his character, labelled him a bust & deemed him to be the next Vick. He's never going to improve & he isn't allowed to go through his sophomore slump in peace. Basically a repeat of what happened to Cam Newton, now everyone is back on the bandwagon. This is coming from a white poster too, I saw this coming from a mile away. RG3 will be fine, he's intelligent, has a great work ethic and should be fully healthy next season. It's absurd to write off a 23 year old QB already.
seriously bro, the race card is all you can offer? RGIII loses a lot when he can't run. That, coupled with the NFL figuring out how to defend the read option could spell trouble for RGIII.
The empirical data shows that black quarterbacks don't win super bowls (once ever and he was a backup for most of the season). Heck, they rarely make the super bowl (3 times ever). Respect must be earned.
Bottom line is that he hasnt played well this season...whether it's because of his knee or because defenses are adjusting to him...he just hasnt even been average this season. His rating is 25th in the NFL, his YPA is below average, his completion percentage is 22nd, etc... Ryan Fitzpatrick has him beat in almost all categories. I dont think anyone is writing of RGIII...but he certainly has a lot of proving to do because he took some major steps back this season.
White QBs get a lot of leeway? Any QB that is sucking it up, losing games, and seemingly taken a gigantic step backwards is going to get criticized. Hell, the best QB (Peyton), gets criticized for not winning more Super Bowls and struggling in cold weather games. Drew Brees got benched in his 2nd year as a starter and they drafted Rivers.
Its the truth, black qb's are not allowed to have growing pains while they develop without being compared to previous black qb failures by the media, or having their character attacked... lol the media is making rg3( one of the few honest, well spoken black athletes in sports) out to look like Terrell Owens.
Stafford has lost more games in career than won, Matt Ryan was supposed to be leading the falcons back to the NFC title game, Andy Dalton has elite talent and sucks( but the media blames Marvin Lewis)... these are just 3 qb's out of a list of many that get passes, it doesnt matter though.. because in 5-10 years most qb's in the NFL will be DIFFERENT, and the media will have no choice but to call what they see straight down the middle
In tecmo bowl the two black quarter backs were better than all the white ones. Moon and Cunningham don't know if you remember super bowl tecmo bowl.
lol Kirk Cousins and Mike Shannahan to Htown baby!! yea cousins makes a few great throws, but he makes a lot of wtf throws too... i counted at least 2 picks that should have been had in this game.. Cousins is similar to Rex Grossman which is why im sure the shannahans love him so much
