Here's what I'm thinking, an 8 player trade involving the Bulls and Celtics.

Rockets get: Avery Bradley, Taj Gibson and Kris Humphries(expiring)

Bulls get: Jeremy Lin, Greg Smith and Isaiah Canaan

Celtics get: Omer Asik and Kirk Hinrich

    Beverly/ Brooks
    Harden/ Bradley
    Parsons/ Casspi
    Jones/ D-Mo
    Howard/ Gibson

No way Celts agree to that deal. They want picks and getting younger...not the other way around.

From the dish, seems Charlotte looking to trade mkg. Just wanted to see how close I come if the rockets trade with them

From all reports the Rockets DID really like MKG coming out of college and would have drafted him if he was on the board.

His shot sucks but he is athletic and a good wing defender.

Rockets receive: MKG and Bismack Biyombo
76ers receive: Asik, Ramon Sessions, and the worst of Charlotte's 3 1st round picks in 2014
Bobcats receive: Evan Turner, Thad Young, and Isaiah Canaan

Rockets get a wing defender a young rim protector to back up Dwight
76ers clear some cap space by getting rid of Thad Young, get an expiring in sessions, and another drat pick in 2014
Bobcats go into win now mode (which is apparently the plan)

If we end up getting green or rondo from the celtics all consider that a great deal for asik. Really though it's all speculation who the three team deal is with. I'm still crossing my fingers for Paul millsap. I feel as if he's the final peice besides perusing Melo when he's a free agent.

suspense is killing ... speculation on Morey's trade moves are often more exciting than how the Rockets are playing lately

I'm hoping we get a back-up center or a SG/SF to reduce the minutes of our wing players. Of course a 1st round pick is always useful to entice some rebuilding teams to give up their vets

Today I am hearing rumours with Boston. Morey knows Danny Ainge and they have Jeff Green, Brandon Bass and a lot of draft picks

Mkg off the bench could really help our perimeter defense. Asik for Mkg swap would benefit both teams

Question: Those of you who have followed both Evan Turner and MKG...how different are they as players? They seem to both bring the same type of skills.

I'd rather have Jones more than Rondo AND Green.

Turner is a better shooter, but MKG is a better defender.

Please - no Rondo. Please no Varejao.

Serviceable players with no key personality flaws, is all I ask. (I consider flopping a personality flaw, FYI. :) )

MKG or Green would be phenomenal. I wouldn't be the least bit upset with Milsap either. This team is young and growing everyday. The down to earth Rockets fans new this would be a rough season early on until they get chemistry down. We add anyone of those 3 and we get instantly better. After the all-star break we will go on a rampage. Book it
