No more 2nd round picks for back up QBs.

    Just take Bridgewater/Manziel/ whoever

I would only give a 4th or 5th rd pick for Cousins.

7 turnovers, 3 by Captain Kirk... yea he sure gave his team a chance by giving away the ball 3 times lol... the Falcons were literally trying to give that game away haha

Are you seriously arguing turnovers when Griffin has 12 interceptions and has fumbled 11 times (lost 4)

Cousins has 2 this game, should have been 3 but the linebacker dropped the tipped ball in the air...

i count 3 picks for cousins in 1 game, rg3 has only 12 in 15 games

So now we're counting "should-have-been" interceptions as actual ones? Yes, I'm sure Griffin and every other QB in the league haven't had defenders drop potential interceptions. That only happens with Kirk Cousins.

Go easy on poor SkyRim. This has been a rough year for him. The ascension of Nick Foles and Kirk Cousins has been nothing short of a punch to his gut, as Ron Mexico and Ragdoll Gimp III have been pushed aside.

Nick "Sunshine the Aryan assassin" Foles is emerging as the best young QB in the league.... beating out Luck....

I think I saw Ron Mexico on the South Side of Chicago yesterday.

    381 passing yards, big deal

RG3 has gone over 400 yards of total offense plenty of times

btw give the nfl time to figure of captain, remember when keenum was all the rage here in Houston

Perhaps...... but if I am a team and get to pick, I take Luck and Foles over RGIII.

take Foles only if he is in Chip Kelly's system lol, without Kelly he is a bum

as for Luck he doesn't beat Griffin anywhere except for being more durable and stronger, he is hit or miss with his accuracy... missing more often

Is it Kelly's system? Is Foles just having an incredible run? I don't know..... right now, his advanced metrics are at a hall of fame level, well beyond anything RGIII or Luck have done in their early career.

Let me chime in here as someone who has watched every Redskin game this year... I was PLEASED by what I saw yesterday. I would've felt uneasy if Kirk Cousins had stepped in the pocket and not been sacked at all. Then, we would be putting more of the sacks/pressure RG has had this year and put more of the blame on him. What this game showed is our offensive line SUCKS.

Let the team work through FA and the draft to protect Robert, take off his knee brace next year, give him an off season to work on improving as a player and not rehabbing/nursing an injury, and then let's see who is still talking about him like the league has caught up to him.

He is working with a weak offensive line, a really weak receiving core (Garcon is a friggin stud) but he is really a #2 WR. Can you imagine him alongside the likes of Fitzgerald (Redskins have the money to aquire him), a special teams unit that starts him out inside of his own 20 on 92% of his possessions, and a weak defense who makes the offense play from behind.

What alot of people aren't realizing is that there is more on the team that changed from last year then RG3 himself. Our defensive line has regressed. Last year they were able to provide pressure, this year none. Our MLBs have been weak the entire season (however Perry Riley has stepped it up the last month). London Fletcher you would never even know he was playing if the commentators didn't bring up his iron man streak at the beginning of every game. Our offensive line looked OK last year because of the read option. The read option freezes the pass rush, which since this year our read option is not a threat the pass rush gets released relentlessly (something you Houston fans should know watching defenses vs Keenum)

Last year we had problems with kick/punt returning... so we try out this kid Richard Crawford in week 11. The first 11 weeks of the season we were bottom of the lead in average PR/KR yards. The last 7 weeks of the season we were #2 in the league. This Richard Crawford kid got put on the IR in preseason. We have no one to return kicks/punts. Our best bet was Josh Morgan who had NEVER returned them in his life, not in middle school, not in high school not in college and not in the NFL.

PR/KR has special abilities to be able to catch the ball WHILE accelerating. Josh Morgan doesn't have that, he catches the ball, runs, and makes it back to the 9 yard line.

We lost a couple key players in free agency last year. We were docked $18m in the salary cap department, and on the Eagles broadcast a few games back they showed a list of 8 players on the Eagles which 2013's salaries equal $18m and I forget the rest but I know Foles and Mccoy were on there.

don't get down, Skyrim, the good news from this year is that some doors could open in the Canadian Football league for Vick and RGIII to showcase their abilities

    Vick is way past 30
