Not necessarily, the playoffs is a totally different beast.

Harden sprains his ankle more than Steph Curry these days.

Most teams who win ships, have higher seeds. Sure anything can happen, it just normally doesn't.

He's saying when it comes to seeding. These games could determine home court advantage.

I tend to agree with you that 55-27 is about right assuming reasonable health. I am reasonably satisfied with the Rockets thus far considering injuries and very limited production from Asik.

I am very satisfied with how the team has played against elite teams.

True but why are we so worried about home court so soon. Plus having it doesn't guarantee anything. We need continuity and chemistry 1st so lets work on that.

We lost our way sometime around the 2nd qtr. the ref's were definately not helping our cause...i felt they were a bit harsh on us today and shots were just not falling. Happens, but seriously we tend to do this against below average teams.

He's had more than 2 bad games. Look at the box scores. He had a phenomenal start to the year but even before his injury he was regressing towards the mean. I do not want to have a Lin debate so that is all I will say.

We need a bench upgrade. I don't mind keeping Lin at all, since he's obviously our best bench player. But Casspi/Garcia ain't gonna cut it. They haven't been good at all.

I sat right by the Rockets bench and there was an instance during a timeout where a fan asked Dwight if he knew how Kobe was doing. Dwight replied saying the fan should ask his momma. Gave the section around us a good laugh.

Does anybody have an update on Harden? He took a long time to get up when he rolled his ankle then left the game for a bit then came back. Then played for a little bit then left for the remainder of the game in the fourth quarter.

Congratulations, Rockets, on allowing Scruby Gay his 3rd 50% FG shooting game of the year!

think solid was talking about these pitiful losses may be the reason a game 7 isnt in Houston.

It's sad really. Like someone stated earlier, you can literally tell when this team is going to win or lose a game in the first period.

One of the very few times I've checked out during halftime, really didn't see us turning it around, we played lackadaisically and we can't afford anymore of these games.

Accountability is what is lacking, no one leading them and calling them out for when they play lazy.

Dwight looking around at his teammates when half the time he is the one failing to rotate, Harden not even attempting to get to his man on a switch, Parsons conserving energy - TJones generally looking lost in defensive schemes.

The team is just not there yet in maturity, they can beat ANYBODY when they try, but they can lose to anyone too - because they don't give consistent effort.

That is why Popovich is such a good coach, he benches STAR players when they slack off...

Attention to detail is lacking from the top of the coaching staff to the players themselves.

This team will not win anything as long as McHale is the coach.

I'm surprised the game was as close as it was. No Lin, no Asik, TJones sick, Harden hurt, Dwight in foul trouble, missed free throws, can't make a three.

Everything that could go wrong, did go wrong. Lets just make the big trade and move forward with the season.
