wasn't really about Lin. It was a critique on Harden. but to answer your pointed question. No Lin wouldn't hold the ball onto that long. He always tries to be team player 99% of the time. He'll pass the rock to the open man most of the time.

It's true, the criticims of Harden isn't always warranted. He does other positive things offensively like pass pretty well and spot up if he needs to. This hero ball thing was allowed by McHale. Can't really blame Harden if he was allowed to play hero ball by the coach himself.

 

based on his own word after GSW game, it really does not sound like there is anything that bad that he would miss even Wednesday game though. He said he could play 48 min if allowed.

didnt watch the game tonight, what were the main reasons for the rockets losing if someone could summarize? i know Lin was out

 

as in, I know lin was out for the game, not sure if there were other injuries that might have affected the game. heard harden got injured midway as well?

Lin out (back spasms), Asik out (Knee drained), Tjones played but severe flu, Harden sprained his ankle badly in the 3rd quarter and left at the 6 min mark of the 4th quarter.

No idea if Harden will be playing Wednesday, he said he was in severe pain post-game.

McHale said he was unsure if Lin would play on Wednesday.

 

Looks like that Asik and Lin will be traded by Thursday as both of them got DNP as coache's decision on yahoo sports.

I guess dwight will have to carry the team on his back and everyone will have to step up. This is a big chance for the bench to show them what they got.

No, it is more likely that Rox does not want Asik or Lin to get injured again before Thursday as both of them will be on the trading block. There is a high chance that both of them will be gone.

Lin's contract is untradeable. It doesn't help that the other teams think he's an overpaid bench player.

He has looked wonky out there. It was very noticeable the first few minutes back. He did appear to look better as the games progressed but still looks off. This is a non issue, imo. I would think this is normal protocol for most players coming back from a long hiatus. Add to the fact dudes just a bench player, not sure what the fuss is all about.
