Wow, Jeff green, Brandon bass and a 1st would be a great haul for a disgruntled Asik. Shocked at the comments-well, maybe not really.

Remember, this these assets could be flipped at the trade deadline too. Decent peices and good chips.

 

Jeff Green may not be all that offensively and yeah, his contract is kinda big but you guys tell me who's gonna guard these athletic wings come playoff time.

OKC traded Jeff Green for Perkins in part to give Harden more minutes and shots and gave Perkins a big contract. The big contract is a big reason why OKC could not afford to pay Harden.

 

Ainge probably wants to un-suck fairly quickly.

He'll add Asik to Rondo.

Some sort of deal where Asik is the main piece going to Boston, KHump and Tjones and Ronnie Brewer and 2014 1st rounder from Boston (?) to Philly, Hawes and Young to Houston.

Some weird combo like that.

Question: If we do get a package of say, Green + Bass + Pick (I would not want to do it, as it means we are LESS likely to get a player like Love), wouldn't we have too many players on our roster? How is that handled?

 

He's beastin right now, for sure... and 5 years younger. I'd hope TJ's development doesn't take a back seat for a slight upgrade.

Thanks for that dose of perspective, jocar. It doesn't look like an objectively huge upgrade, given their stats for this season so far... I wish we had more time before the 19th to see if TJ is really shrinking (for lack of a better term) or just having a couple of off games.
