    Didn't want to start my own thread -- when you are lifting should you wear gloves on both hands or just your dominate hand?

    I don't wear gloves in the gym. Mainly because I ain't no b****. I do wear gloves when I drive my car home though.

    Only wear waterproof latex gloves when lifting. Otherwise you might mysteriously gain 5 lbs even with perfect diet.

    whats the name of the exercise that involves the following :

    standing up straight with a 45 lb plate in one arm, followed by leaning to either the right/left side back to the center position?

    i tried looking this up, but couldn't find the name of this exercise.

    Not sure about the name, but it sounds like some sort of side crunch that's meant to work your obliques.

    Didn't want to start my own thread -- when you are lifting weights from the stack and putting them on the bar should the numbers face inward or outward?

    so for the next 2 weeks, university gym is closing temporarily. This means i no longer have access to a gym. Will i lose strength gains with this 2 week hiatus? Anything i can do at home?
