I agree but Lin hasn't been inconsistent this year. He's had 2 bad games and I won't count the last game because he's coming back from injury. Brooks at times can somewhat organize the offense. He'll do in an emergency like you have now. Casspi is a terrible finisher around the rim. Garcia is just lost, I don't know what's wrong with him. Smith will get in foul trouble and DMo is also lost.

Talk about an over exaggeration. We are 2-1 against the 2 best West teams, 1 and 2 against the 2 worst.

Here is the reality in the West. OKC and the Spurs are the only elite teams, the rest of the West is a toss up. From 3 to 10, any team can beat anyone. The Heat have lost to horrible teams, **** happens. Look at the big picture, not one game.

This game was 3 games in 4 nights on the road.

The team just needs a mindset shift, to fix the little things that I harp on after every game (boxing out, looking after the ball, being engaged on defense for 48 minutes).

What hype has there been for this team? The media says we are a good team, I dare say 2 out of every 3 posts on this message boards are about how horrible everyone is.

The team is in the hunt for the 4th seed, anyone who expected more than that is crazy.

It really is amazing, when we win the attitude here is negative and win we lose everyone acts as if they truly expect the team to be any good at all.

We should lose 3 more games quickly so we would get a 50 games winning streak into the playoffs?

Pathetic loss. Other than the god-awful FT shooting, Dwight wasn't even trying out there, we had to put Smith on Cousins in the 4th.

How can he be consistent when his minutes are not consistent? Even playing really well this year his minute distribution has been jerked around. Players like Beverley can play **** for a game and still get 30+ minutes.

this was an embarrassing loss on all accounts. Kings got talent, but the ROckets should have beaten them. iJholmes? what are you smoking? This wasn't just another loss. It was an incredibly embarrassing loss. There is no excuse for this loss. I am so mad right now

Only BrightsideIis we have injuries (Harden included) and our final roster is incomplete due to the imminent Asik trade.

    We still should've won.

Lin has NOT been inconsistent. Here are Lin's minutes before the injury game and since:
    31, 30, 36, 30, 29, 31, 26, 46, 44, 30, 32, 24, 17, 34, 31

It's right around 30 minutes. There are 2 OT games and a 26, 24 and 17. All the rest have been right around 30.

First, don't compare the poise of the Heat to the Rockets. The Heat have proven themselves. They have one weakness - rebounding. That's it. The Rockets two superstars are considered by many to be the least effective and most immature. Consistency is a big problem on this team, and that's a very important characteristic to have to be considered a winner

Second, the expectation on this current team is unreasonable. They haven't proven a single thing. Fans here are pretending the Rockets are champions going through a slump when instead they are a team that needs to win every game they can and position themselves to actually pass the first round.

The West is a toss-up from 3-8, yes, and it's exactly why some pretending Houston is a sure thing is a problem. It's still early in the season, being 2-1 vs "elite" teams isn't very persuasive. The Suns, as terrible as some expect them to be, are holding onto a playoff spot. Rockets are 6-4 vs. winning teams. They aren't steam rolling winners and losing to losers

how good do people really think a team is without 4 of its best 7 including it's best scorer and best 2 playmakers?

Not to give these guys an excuse, but I'm sure its tough to concentrate and keep your head in the game, while knowing that there's a possibility of getting moved to another city at any given moment. Not an excuse, but understandable.

At least we don't have the illusion of supposedly being a good team. Inconsistency is maddening, but the talent is there.
