ClutchFans Game Thread: Rockets @ Kings 12/15/2013

Parsons and Brooks played well. Harden is scoring but he's not playing the type of team ball he should. Brooks played well, but here's the problem. He doesn't get to the foul line. However, he should play more minutes in the second half. Garcia is doing nothing, Casspi is not a good finisher, Jones is a young player and under the weather but he's good, DMo isn't in rhythm with the team. Parsons is playing very, very well. Dwight is good but not making his foul shots now. In my eyes, Lin needs to get healthy, get back aggressive and play because you need another player getting to the line and, this is on Lin, play better off the ball because Beverley is playing great off the ball and demand when you are with Harden that you will be the playmaking sometimes and he'll just have to deal with it.

Isiah Thomas is looking good. Bev is doing nothing wrong, the kid has a nice game. Gay is a graceful player when he isn't chucking up too many shots. Cousins, clumsy.

 

I'm tired of the Rox coming out with a sorry ass effort against these sorry ass teams. They need to have some pride dammit

This team has too many holes on defense. I thought with Howard + Asik that the team will be hard to score on...i was wrong. Now without Asik, the defense still suck. You can't blame Beverley and Parson for playing bad defense because they're great defenders. The culprit of the problem comes from Harden, Howard and Jones. Obviously, Howard and Harden will never be blamed for playing bad defense cuz they're superstars. So i think this team will always have problem on defense simply because the very problem is rooted in their stars. Maybe if they can find a PF that play better D...and hope that player can change the chemistry of the defense.

And that's just the starters....what about the bench...i dont' even want to go there...they're even worst.

 

We'll win this but I hate how they always play down to **** teams

I think so too, but if we're not careful, it could be an L. Especially the way Gay and Thomas are playing.

This team does not need additional PG, we have PG in Harden. OK? He is our SG/PG.

Hey, let's play 4 point guards in the starting line-up...yeah, that is the ticket

 

I wonder if the trade rumors are becoming a distraction for the guys. Theoretically, we say that the guys should just give 100% out there without concerns about rumors on matters that they have no control over, but the player are human and can react in human ways. Being traded and having to move to a whole new city does make a difference in one's life.

The thing is, it's not just Asik alone being shopped, everyone knows that they can be a part of a package going out, whether it's because the other team want them thrown in or for salary matching needs. So, I wonder if the guys are sitting around thinking about who is still gonna be there by the end of the week.

 

Game needs more AB. I don't understand how this is never obvious to coaching staff.

 

I call it game over. Just watch. They already believe they can hang with us.
