I really like the personel the Rockets get back .... Its a win now type move tho as none of them are likely Rockets after the season. Lowry is going to get paid .... again and I doubt Morey is the one to do it. Hawes is going to command a contract around $8-10m. At his current productivity , he's worth that ... but I cant see Morey paying him that type of $$$ over a multi-year deal. Turner being a RFA .... Someone offers a poison pill deal and he's gone. Basically what this does is expend the Rockets best assets for a better shot at winning it all right now.

Houston remains extremely flexible and picks up some young talent and a solid veteran wing. Why Boston Does it: Boston picks up some good young bigs/forwards and a good young guard. A decent haul for Rondo, but still allows them some flexibility in terms of flipping pieces for value at a later date. Why Boston does it: Boston gets two real nba players and a star PG in Rondo. They are instantly a relevant team that can compete in the east. Rondo,Ridnour OJ Mayo, Gary Neal Delfino/Brewer Sanders, Udoh Asik, Pachulia Good defensive line-up. with some good shooting from Mayo and Delfino. Decent bench too. In the easter conference that team could do pretty well. Add some more pieces in the off season and they could get even better. But that line-up would give them their best team in a long, long time. Not sure if any of this makes sense but f it. It's my trade proposal.
If you can get Boston to give up Olynyk ... you can just send him here to replace Asik instead of that 3rd team , he's the best young prospect in that transaction. Humphries and Olynyk for Asik. You get Asiks replacement in Olynyk and a big expiring contract ($12m) to move at the deadline which allows you to take back ~$15m in a subsequent transaction to which you add other assets to bring in significant talent from a team looking to shed salary and tank away the rest of the season.
