I'll take your "Jelly of the Month" for a year bonus if you don't want it. Mmmmmmmm.....jelly! Was watching that scene in the movie last night.
A place I used to work for gave us a thank you note and a bag of chocolates one year. That same year everyone in management, who was also family, bought themselves luxury vehicles. Nepotism and greed at its best.
We do an annual bonus in March based in part on our performance against Plan. It'd be pretty useful to get it in December instead. Shouldn't they adjust their unrealistic profit goals?
GF works at a Dental Office, and they were told all this time they'll get one for Christmas, and that no requesting time off in December to receive any of it. They were told this morning they aren't getting one, or any pay over xmas.
We get a Christmas bonus and a Christmas party all you can eat and drink. Only down side is bonus goes straight to the bank to pay for property tax and insurance.
Not officially, but I've received one the last two years and will raise hell if I don't get one this year.
Wow are you my coworker? Sounds exactly like the company I work for. Anyways, cheers to us for putting up with the BS. 2014 should be a ridiculous year for us so I am actually somewhat hopeful we will be put back on an incentive program.
Current and just previous corp do it in March and then raises whenever. Old company timed it around Christmas along with raises. The hitch was that annual reviews, both the team reviews and then management revisions, were due by September: so you were getting judged on eight months of work.
My job is open 24/7...only bonus I get is working on Christmas Eve and Day and missing my families Christmas gathering.
April annual bonus. Can't wait. Our Christmas bonus is getting off at 2pm on Christmas Eve (if workload allows).
