I'm thinking Ilyasova or bust (not my preference just what I think will happen)

 

Rondo is my 2nd favorite player of all time (behind harden) he's incredibly talented and fun to watch but I just don't understand why anyone in the right mind would want him playing next to harden. He's incredibly ball dominant and can't shoot. Dominant sgs like harden,wade,kobe, and mj usually play next to decent catch and shoot pgs like fisher, kerr, paxson, chalmers.

To me (although I love rondo and have his celtics jersey) rondo just makes no sense next to harden

 

The obvious answer is another player required to make another trade work is also restricted until Dec 15th. For example, Codman's prediction for Brandon Bass; it wouldn't work unless Celts sent out some extra salary in the trade (say Phil Pressey, who is restricted until then)...

No way Philly gives up Spencer Hawes for Asik.
And lol Asik is just going to get benched again once Noel is trotted out there as the franchise savior.

 

I'd like to trade asik's stupid brain for a new one, is it possible? 1st we need a backup center, 2nd all the names (except for Millsap and Anderson) are a bunch of crappy players we don't need and with less value of Asik.

Not too excited about anyone on Philly's squad. Like Turner but he's about to get paid, but not by us.

I like CLE. AV is okay, but I'd like Waiters + pick (s).
Milsap seems like an obvious choice. He certainly wouldn't make us worse. He's a good 2 way player. Rebounds and plays hard. If we do get Milsap, we'll need to get a legit 5 to backup Dwight. I don't have much confidence in Smith playing C.

 

Nobody is predicting a deal for Amir Johnson? He is your classic undervalued asset that Morey loves.

My prediction: Omer Asik to Boston for Kris Humphries and a first round pick.

Although I am rooting for a multiteam deal which nets Luol Deng. Maybe Houston winds up acquiring Deng on Feb 20 instead.

 

Evan Turner is a bad fit. A high usage/low efficiency player. Too many turnovers, and he can't knock down a 3 to save his life. Not only that, but he isn't much of a defender either.

Thaddeus Young & Spencer Hawes are the two guys we could use from the Sixers.

 

Hawes, Young for Asik and Dmo is my bet.

I wish we could get Lin/Asik for Horford, but it won't happen.

I do like the idea of Amir Johnson though.

We need a legit PG. Beverly has turned out to be MUCH overrated and hyped

 

I believe DMO will be traded with Asik. I don't expect to see Dmo take the court again for Houston. This is sad because I like him and think he will end up good 2-3 years from now.

Spencer Hawes and Thaddeus Young and the right to swap first rounders with Philly (for their crappier pick) for Asik+Motie+Smith. They get a frontcourt and I think that group is well complemented by Nerlens Noel next year.
