i dont agree with some of your post truth1, but some are funny tho and give me a good laugh I will say that

but i do argee with this one, its no "2nd unit here" all starters play at least 36-40 mins, and 2 are always on the floor, a 6th man is on the floor in the
4th with the starters to close out the game anyway, so he would still have to be productive with the starters if he was a 6th man. So yeah the 6th man 2nd unit is something that im not buying

I like the big PGs: Wroten, Livingston, Vazquez, Temple. Wonder how Morey likes 'em... Perhaps we will find out.

    Exactly.

Lin is just a bench player under this coaching staffs. Does not even matter when he put in all star numbers. If you are real Rockets fan, you know what the coaching staffs are doing is just pain non-sense.

Rockets is hard to watch now. Look at last night's game, it is blazer vs me ball. There was no team basketball in this team. Disguising.

moral of the story for lin is, the grass is not always greener on the other side. dont tak a lil more money to come to a team that already cut you before. You cant trust that type of situation. He would be starting in ny able to take 15****s a game get in a rythm, play free without fans juding his every move here on O or D.

In houston they get a SG that has to have the ball, then go all the way to russia to get a PG that has a skill you dont have and took your mins.

idiotic comment. if he's supposed to be the 6th man, the offense off the bench, is 15 minutes and 4 shots going to do it? look at the blazers. Williams is the backup PG and played 24 minutes along with lilliard's 34 minutes. or do you think all the starters should play 40 minutes a game? even on a back-to-back with travel involved?

Why cant you guys just go to jermelylin.net and leave us alone. Atleast over there you can talk amungst like minded people and not continuously get into flaming wars over here(both sides are at fault). Since no one can just agree to disagree without taking it personal.

so BOF, why is the Rockets better with Beverly over Lin? Individually, Lin is superior over Beverly:

    http://www.basketball-reference.com...sum=0&p1=linje01&y1=2014&p2=beverpa01&y2=2014

as a team, our team is better offensively AND defensively with Lin.

offensively, with a lineup of Jeremy Lin, James Harden, Chandler Parsons, Terrence Jones, Dwight Howard....our team shoots a eFG of .551. When you subsitute Lin with Beverly in the same lineup, our team’s eFG drops to .541.

defensively, with a lineup of Lin, Harden, Parsons, Jones, and Howard... we hold our opponent's eFGA to .398. Sub Beverly with Lin in the same lineup, our opponent's eFGA improves to .415.

so BOF, WHY IS BEVERLY BETTER FOR OUR TEAM THAN LIN???? And i KNOW it's not because Beverly is a better 3 pts shooter than Lin.

We as fans cheered the rockets on as a team and not as one individual...

This BS with one player and is just stupid and outrageous and it starts in every freaking thread; even when the thread has nothing to do about that individual. The stats don't read "this player is 5 - 1" it reads as the Rockets as "5-1".

you obviously do with your undying support for Beverly despite there being NO evidence what-so-ever that our team is better with Beverly instead of Lin.

You keep telling yourself that, just go to jeremylin.net and leave us ROCKETS fans alone. Problem solved, you guys must like fighting. Why else would you continue to post on a forum that is full of "racists" and "Lin haters".

Everyone is saying stuff like "Bev outplayed lillard" because he held him to a bad offensive game. That's great but shutting your man down when you have zero offensive ability and are guaranteed to get shut down every game yourself only makes you a neutral player.

And then we get to the games where he doesn't shut down his man, now were talking about a negative player. PG is not a position where being above average defensively is enough to be a starter in this league because you can't shut several people down at the same time like a great defensive big. If he were even a great passer I'd get it, but having 35mins a game of Beverly will keep this team from ever being a competitor in such a strong at the top NBA.
