    All on Netflix.

Lars and the Real Girl, 4/5 - Great acting, weird premise.
Blue Valentine, 3/5 - Not sure what the point was, engaging though.
Broken Flowers, 4/5 - Bill effing Murray.
    The Babysitters, 1/5 - Terrible.
Craigslist Joe, 3/5 - Predictable, but interesting.
The Road, 5/5 - Vigo takes on the apocalypse.
Tucker & Dale vs. Evil, 4/5 - Had its moments.
The Lifeguard, 3/5 - Kristen Bell in a once piece.
The Sum of All Fears, 5/5 - Jack Ryan movies are golden.
Something Ventured, 5/5 - Venture capitalist documentary.
    It's a Disaster, 3/5 - I didn't like any of the characters.
Safety Not Guaranteed, 5/5 - Perfect film.

    jOBS - 5/10

I mean... it was aight I guess. They portrayed Steve as an perfectionist and egomaniac douchebag. But I guess that's what everyone who worked with/under him said, right? It gets a low score because everything was so rushed. Jumped from one year to another in like 5 minutes. No character development for anyone, not even Steve. There was a lot of times when I'm like "how did we get here?" and there were no buildup or explanation to events in the movie.

Kutcher isn't such a bad actor.

    Eight Below - 7.5/10

I never really found Paul Walker that great an actor from his F&F movies so watching this particular movie has somewhat changed my opinion of him. He was actually pretty good here.

    The Ultimate Gift - 8/10

A really feel good story but it's a bit dated. Oh, and Abigail Breslin is an absolute joy to watch.

I agree, Kutcher was actually pretty good... it was just a bad movie.

Just finished "Bernie" on Netflix, It was something new, I thought Jack Black had a good performance in it. I'd give it a 7 out of 10.

Bernie was directed by Richard Linklater, a proud Houstonian!

The fast an the furious. What a classic that was. Brought me back to memory lane. Bought it blue ray and the picture was awesome. Got me amped up like the first time.

I also bought scarface, 300, gladiator,.... Will see one tonight.

    Chasing Mavericks - 7/10

Kind of the surfer version of Karate Kid. Really liked it, a lot more than I thought I would.

    Requiem for a Dream - 10/10

It's been years since I last saw this film and with good reason. I say this is great to watch (stomach) once every 5 years lol Technically? The movie, acting, direction, editing, music, everything is innovative enough to warrant such a high score.. But just as a work of art that makes you FEEL - it's amazing how much one movie can wrench your gut, toy with your emotions and make you look at yourself in the mirror. Aronofsky made a classic with this one.

    Fruitvale Station - 8/10

Not quite as good as I had heard it to be, but still pretty great. Michael B. Jordan is one of the best young actors around and he was just amazing, and should certainly be nominated for an Oscar. Definitely recommend!

Totally agree! It uses like twice as many shots as most movies it's length. And it was so impactful to me when the characters would be next to each other but the screen divides them because they are always alone... Anyways if anybody hasn't watched this you are really do a disserevice to yourself.

    American Hustle [ 5/10 ]

Where do I start...Wasn't in particularly thrilled to see this movie, but my buddy was dying to go see it, and the other dude we were with saw Anchorman 2 yesterday.

First 45 minutes of the are nothing but a love-triangle story. It's one of those movies where all the funny parts are shown in the commercials.

Cameo's from Louis CK, and Robert De Niro.

The people I wanted to root for in the movie didn't make it easy; Jennifer Lawrence is a crazy b****, Brad Cooper is kind of a Douche, and Jeremy Renner wasn't in the movie near as long as he should.

What I Liked: Strong performance by Christian Bale. Never been a big fan of his, but he played his role great.

What I didn't like: Amy Adams; side-boob the entire movie with no nip-slip and any point.

Final thoughts: This is strike 2 of the holiday season movie line-up that has been disappointing me (the first being Out of The Furnace). Did see a really good preview for a movie entitled "the monuments men".

    The Graduate - 6/10

A "time-capsule classic" is what I call this. Much like the Exorcist, this movie stands as a superb film for its time and audience in the 1960's but doesn't age too well for a modern, younger audience today. The editing is innovative for the time and the acting is top notch. But the story, pace, concept could be considered pretty bland by today's standards.

Still well worth a viewing for any 90's babies. The director, Mike Nichols, has a knack for capturing the best of the worst in relationships and spotlighting a harsh reality of the pitfalls people throw themselves (and some unfortunate bystanders along the way) into when it comes to "love", and does so in such a jolting manner. His movies are ALWAYS interesting when viewed through this lens.

Blackfish: 9/10. Might change your opinion on Sea World and orca whales in captivity.

    American Hustle - 8.5/10

It was a very enjoyable flick, probably more so for me because I very much remember the late 1970's. Superb acting. I can't believe Amy Adams got 4th billing in this flick, and I see a nomination in her future. Christian Bale is nothing less than terrific. Wow!

Glad that you watched it, though I'm still astounded that so many people were ignorant to the facts before they watched it.

Cetaceans are some of the most smart/magnificent animals we have on this planet. Wish more people would give a s***.

I 100% disagree, this film was the best film of 2013. Did you watch this bootleg on computer?

    47 Ronin --- 3 out of 5

    Let me make this brief.

Great animation. Good action sequence. Okay storyline. Some funny moments.

    Could have been better.
