Standing up for what? Asik would do the same thing Morey did in a heartbeat if he was in his place. You don't pass an opportunity to acquire someone like Howard. It's business where pouting is not an option.

So what's next? Morey will sign Durant and Parsons will stop playing? We'll sign Love and TJones will stop playing?

Uhhhh I guess we do miss asik huh? If i remember, last game he was on aldridge and gave him trouble. This game alridge was doing whatever he wanted with whoever was guarding him (Tjones ect..). I'm sorry but we need to trade Tjones for a good defensive PF, or someone who can neutralize threats. We don't have time to wait for him to develop, we want to win now.

Beverly did a fine job today, exactly what he was told to do, which is to shut down Damien Lillard so I can't blame him for his offensive woes.

Lin i'll give him a pass because he just came from injury..Next week, however, if he's still playing like this...

Parsons defense has really been in the dumps since his rookie season. He was freakin useless tonight, I hope he rests a few games if its his back thats giving him trouble

Lin did better in 15 minutes than Parsons and Bev did in 40.

Bleh, well I wasn't really expecting to win BOTH games this year in Portland, so I'm not too upset about this loss.

I saw a little of the first half and we played decently. A lot of people complained that the bench didn't get enough playing time.. well they seemed to get the normal amount of time in the 1st half, but apparently they went on a big run when the bench was in the game in the 4th quarter so maybe that's why they didn't play much? Looked like Beverly, Parsons, Lin, Garcia and Casspi all had crappy games.

I have really not been impressed with Garcia this season. We will need to upgrade the backup wing spot if we are to be a consistent team. Casspi has been kind of "meh" this year as well.

It would have been nice to have a backup big in there. We need Greg Smith back.

Looking forward to what we can get with Asik. This will be an important trade.

Hopefully we can bounce back tomorrow. Yet another tough game in GSW.

Eh, not really. Lin didn't look that good tonight. Thought he should've got more minutes, but he seemed a little rusty. And even though Bev's offense is suspect he played great defense against a great point guard, so you can't fault him. And Parsons at least showed up in the 4th quarter, though defensively he made me cringe on quite a few occasions.

LOL. I don't think you've ever been rude to me, but I wouldn't bother posting here if I were sensitive or easily offended. ;)

We lost because we no longer have an Asik to cover LMA.

Hope that back-up 4/5 comes through that door sooner than later. Otherwise, keep Asik for ourselves.

We need at least one more big-time player to form our own Big 3. Parsons' injury has taken him out of the equation at present.

Having 3 stars would be insurance should one be slowed down by injury or an off night.

not necessarily.... we would probably have worse role players.

    Does Portland have 3 stars?

Batum and Lillard. One of them is not a star.

ball wasnt moving as good. Harden trying to show off, however he played spectacular defense. When Howard is struggling, stop feeding him.Our playbook is non-existent. LIn needs balls and stop giving the ball everytime half-court Harden demands it. Lin, you are not a pure shooter but a streaky one. Im not really mad the loss since Crawford was reffing.

4- 19 11 points is what you got from your bench last night. Like I told the other joker they cost us the game. They show up and play some ball, then the starters would have gotten some rest BUDDY.

Sampson in the first half let the starters play super long before even making any subs. Sampson had little intention to play the bench very much.
Portland D stepped up like crazy after the half. I'll give credit to portland for playing good defense and moving the ball around well. and setting good screens.

I never saw any screens given on the rockets. maybe a few for harden but that's about it.
