The last 8 minutes or so, did we really look like having a chance to catch up? Remember, Blazers didn't shoot well, but they just played a very fluid game all night long.

Why wouldn't you try to disrupt their flow a little bit by playing AB for some spark, even bone-headed moves. Forget about that "defensive specialist" mindset, it's obviously not working when you are trying to catch up. Coach should actually adjust to the real game a little bit.

Casspi was garbage. Lin had an excuse at least coming back, Garcia did nothing as well

Whoever blaming the bench is delusional. the Starters played MAJOR minutes today with the worse +/-. The team was doing well until Parson and Howard had that argument over the rebound. It all started going down hill from there. And Bev....that was a lot of air ball from him... he really needs to step up on his offense.

i'd usually agree. but tonight, his unstoppable first step was not faster than a 39 year old playing rec ball. you could tell he had not played basketball in about 2 weeks.

this is not even a game to freak out about

we didn't even play that bad, both team played hard, and Portland was simply better for like 2-3 possessions towards the end got stops while we couldn't

im not even that unhappy about the win, poor Jones gets lit up by a beast in LMA.

We had pretty good ball movement and Howard scored easily in the post shet happens

To be honest, my biggest complaint this game was coaching. Starters got gassed. Too much Garcia in the first half. Too much TJones on LMA.

Parsons also played horribly... Not just bad play but bad body language.

Lets see Bev plays 40 minutes shoots 3-10 scores 9 points in 40 minutes and Lin plays 15 minutes takes 4 shots for 5 points coming of injury and u talk about liN JUST A HATER
Parson 6-18 with 14 points in 38 minutes
How about blaming the players that actually played meaningful minutes

You obviously didn't watch the game:rolleyes:

Bev single handedly shut Lilliard down. Bev defended better than anybody at his position all season.

I was heavily critical of mchales short rotations.

    But sampson's? Omg un-effin-believable.

Doesn't he know that we have a bench?

So what you are saying is:

    1. Loss was not on the bench and was all on the starters, even though Portland made a huge run when the bench came out.

    2. Starters played too much but it's the coach's fault.

And you are saying the bench playing poorly had absolutely nothing to do with the association between the above two factors.

Bev would be so much more effective off the bench. Hes a high energy hustle player/defensive pest. These type of players are almost always brought off the bench. Only this team and Miami would start him.

Fifteen bit minutes with no rhythm is hard to judge. The bench didn't play well but to say they are at fault when ur superstar makes boneheaded plays when it's a two point game and your starting pg air balls is classic deflection.

If Lin had played thirty minutes and put up Bev's numbers I'd be happy to blame him also.

At the end of the day, the so called superstars have to stand up and be counted.

Lol if Blazers fans think LMA is a legitimate MVP candidate they're dumber than rocks. And any of you who think that are just as dumb, by the way.

-We started playing bad cause Parsons was forcing everything.
-Then it went into people taking bad shots(Bev)
-Then it went to bad coaching(Sampson not adjusting and letting bench get in rhythm)
-Then it went to lack of effort from Jones on the boards and overall had a bad game

Overall I feel the game was on Parsons,Bev,Sampson, Bev should have made better decisions and not have shot the ball, Sampson should have used the bench sooner, and Jones IMO was ghost.

Overall this team is missing McHale strangely enough. He is the leader,he is the mentor, he is what the team looks for guidance, we kind of are a college team who puts there faith in the coach. Sampson blows dude looks hella nervous out there and purely relies on preaching defense to the team, I think we called like 3 plays the whole game and they were all for bench player who were not in rhythm.

I still have faith in the team to bounce back in one of the upcoming games.
