that's weird, I took the cable from the cable box and put it into the xbox 1 and the picture is the same quality.
I have been unable to connect to Ghosts on Xbox One for whatever reason. My nat is open. It says I'm connected but when I run a multiplayer test connection it says I'm not.
Why not just put your XB1 behind the DMZ? That would fix everything and it would kill any other port issues you could run into?
Is Assassin's Creed worth getting? Will it allow me to fight like a pirate while invading other ships? Or, is it more of a management of pirates game? I want to blow stuff up, stab other pirates, shoot guns, get into ship-to-ship cannonball shooting matches and take over other ships, etc. . Does it do that or do I mostly just manage a horde of pirates as a captain type mostly hands off? I want to act and behave like a pirate. ARRRRR!!!!
Log into your router, under the firewall section on 99% of router's is something called DMZ. Put the IP of your Xbox as the DMZ and boom, it's free of all firewalls.
I was able to figure it out and that still did not work. I'm not sure wtf the problem is but I'm getting tired of dealing with it. Thanks for the suggestion.
I'm not exactly 15 years old. I may be too old for it. Does it work for grown-ups? Perhaps I should hand over my man card. lol I may check it out. The review ratings have been very positive for it.
Ive been hearing pretty great things about it from all age groups, so I would give it a shot if youre trying to find a game to grab your attention.
AC is a great game. Hell, I've loved every launch title I've played, including AC, CoD: Ghosts, Battlefield 4, Forza Motorsport 5, Ryse: Son of Rome, Killer Instinct and Need for Speed. I've even played Just Dance with my nieces and nephews and it was a blast. The TV integration is amazing, and easily my favorite part of Xbox One thus far.
So, I come home yesterday and I'm like "Xbox On". Nothing. Repeated it. Repeated it again. Repeated it again. Nothing. Now, I'm pissed. I'm like screaming at the damn thing "XBOX ON!!!!" over and over. Nothing! So, then I'm thinking it's broke. But, I go to manually power it on. It seems to fire up but doesn't turn on my TV, DVR, and A/V receiver like it should. So, I'm like WTF?!?!?! Then, I turn those components on manually and notice Xbox is just sitting at the main logo when it's booting for like 3 minutes or so. Then, it finally gets past it. I don't know what it was doing? Updating? It didn't seem like it nor did it show anything to indicate it was updating...like a progress bar. So unfriendly. Then, it started working again. Just an example of how voice commands failed me there. I got mad at it and it acted like it was pissed at me for yelling at it so it made me turn it on manually. Beeyotch!
