Way back in 7th or 8th grade we were in Science class and I can't remember what the exact question the teacher asked the class, but the answer was "organism". Anyway, this girl (who was kind of known for getting around) raised her hand and offered her answer to the question. Her answer..... "orgasm". The teacher was not impressed.
i'd like to think that reading the 3/4 previous pages was not such a huge task, but it happens all the time
Guess I had assumed that our generation was smarter than that being a commong problem. Obviously my expectations were too high.
Fixed. Also failed at spelling while commenting on intelligence. This is what I get for browsing forums at work instead of working.
LOl. It's ok. But I too sadly did the same thing in 6th grade. I was reading out loud and must have said orgasm like 6 times. I just remember my teacher looking at my all red in the face but since he saw that I wasn't trying to say orgasm he didn't say anything. My friend afterwards told me what it was and I was so embarrassed. I honestly had never heard that word before.
