a bit off topic, but i recently bought a brand new Asus. I'm not sure if i have anti virus protection on it. If not, any good, reliable free programs out there?

Or if it is Windows 8 simply do a system restore. Takes maybe 20 minutes.

If it has Windows 8 it has Windows Defender built in, which should be good for most people. Don't be an idiot and you'll be fine... by idiot I mean don't click on links in emails, and don't click "install this" or "update needed" popups.

If you head to p*rn or shady websites, use InPrivate browsing in IE (CTRL+SHIFT+P) or Incognito mode (CTRL+SHIFT+N) in Chrome.

    Fixed.
Not that the SSD will help with viruses or anything lol, but I recommend them to pretty much anyone. ****, I put an SSD in an older intel core 2 duo computer my grandmother uses and it's fast as ****.

Not to mention on a machine with fast-boot enabled bios, Windows 8 boots in under 10 seconds on SSDs.

Yup, it's ridiculous how much of a performance increase you gain with an SSD. I have an older laptop with an i5 and 8gigs of ram and it ran like **** until I put in the SSD. I reverted back to WIN 7 professional though. Hated Win 8 for enterprise use.
