BattleField 4 is the best game to play when it comes to having fun. The thing i like about this game is yes there are campers but they just camp for kills unlike COD people camp for kill streaks. I've now traded in my COD Ghost for BattleField even though my brother has it.
How has the game been so far since launch? I have noticed the launch issues and wondering if they have been rectified and is the experience improved over BF3 and BF4's launch. I am looking at getting next gen version (XBONE)
I have had an unbelievable amount of problems trying to play this game on Xbox One. I am only able to get into an online game about 10% of the time as usually I end up getting kicked out to the Xbox home screen or it just freezes.
Damn, seems to be still an issue then. Crazy how a few weeks after launch these issues are still around.
PS4 version works fine for me. Haven't played in 10 days though, so this could be better, but I did get some lag on conquest at times.
The game is amazing, but I've had issues with the PC version since launch... and the Xbox One version will randomly crash when matches are over. The game is good enough to live through the growing pains though.
PC version is much better than it used to be.... Too bad the maps suck. Zavod is alright, and Locker is the best map in the game.
I love most of the maps, but I generally only play on 64 man servers so the large maps aren't a problem - plenty of action. Locker is probably my favorite though, it is this version's Operation Metro.
That's the problem. The maps aren't large. Just vast water....water....water...and open grass. Need more city maps.
Ugh, I hate Locker. It's a dumb map where people just spam grenades and explosives. I prefer the open space of Hainan Resort or Golmud instead of linear maps where there are bottle-necks and it just becomes a Zerg rush at the beginning. I prefer 64-player servers and you stick to a region unless you grab a vehicle. Siege of Shanghai and Dawnbreaker are okay maps. There definitely need to be more CQB maps because shotguns are junk in vehicle-dominated maps. But then again, I mainly stick to 64-player Conquest maps where vehicles are rampant. Maybe I should try the other modes like Domination.
Water is meant to be flown over or in a boat. I never touch the water unless it is the start of the map. I think that is the point. When you die spawn on your squad mates or at a capture point.
I love the game, and I love, running around the outer edges and knifing snipers...I prob only played 10-12 hrs and my world ranking for knifing is 3...I run strictly Engineer, Tanks Helis and Jets dominate most maps. Think my win % is .600 plus...I only play Conquest
PS4 had a patch earlier this week and the Xbox One is going to have one in the next few days. EA is pushing Dice to fix the bugs.

I still can't finish any games without being booted to dashboard. I've had about a 10% success rate. I've been playing Ghosts for 2 weeks instead (sadly). My friends generally have better luck with it. Since a successful first day, I haven't lasted 5 minutes in a multiplayer game before being booted to the Xbox dashboard without warning. Chat will sometimes refuse to link to friends while in-game. Most matches are un-joinable on your first, second, and third attempts, and even if they're not full, they'll usually tell you they are. There's no way to ensure that you and your friends join the same game as a party, and if you do all make it in after 15 minutes of trying, you may be on different teams without the ability to change. 1/5 stars for the nice graphics and my stubborn hope that I'll be able to play it sometime... The Patch hasn't fixed my issues. But maybe someday this game will be playable on my Xbox One.
