Merit...??? I always knew IF Morey is contacting Milwaukee _ his eyes are on The Alphabet and not Ersan. I hope we can get him...

This would be the same thing as the Patterson, Aldrich, Douglas for TRob trade.

If it is Giannis i would really hope we could keep him and not re-package him.

Makes sense. The Bucks are miserably pathetic and obviously going to make a move at some point.

Plus, this is the type of trade that suits DM's style. It's like Thomas Robinson Part II and nobody saw that one coming.

All of us armchair GM's spend our days playing around on the ESPN Trade Machine with names like Ryan Anderson, Paul Millsap and what not. But for a GM that covets high lottery pick(s), landing a player like the Greek Freak is essentially the same thing. The guy just turned 19 a week ago with four years remaining on a relatively inexpensive contract.

He is poison pill. But a deal of Lin/Asik for Sanders/Ilyasova/Ridnour/Alphabet works for both sides. There are multiple combination of this deal that would work for both sides.

The problem with the deal from our side is we are locked into Sanders and his contract. Right now that contract is a boat anchor around the league because of Sanders stupidity. If we could get a third team involved that would send take Sanders and send us a contract (and pick) in return that would be more ideal (in my opinion) as far as future moves.

Well sure. But getting him is a different matter. I'll repeat, I think Hammonds would agree (and may have already agreed) to deal Ilyasova and Ridnour (or Udoh) for Jeremy Lin. And I would think if that deal is agreed to that Morey is investigating the possibility of getting Alphabet as well. But as someone alredy mentioned, if Hammonds trades Alphabet..he deserves to be fired.

Greece is one of the powerhouses of European basketball.

    FIBA World Ranking (Top10)

I wonder why not any greek players are in the NBA (Koufos is a Greek-American)

Bucks fans value Giannis like he's their future, which makes me think they would never consider such a deal

But the Bucks FO has been known to trade away quality young for veterans, so...

This is SPOT ON in terms of the Bucks owner. Most teams would be in tank mode but with the Bucks, they are a different animal.

I doubt the Bucks would give up on Gannis, but with them, who knows?

I wonder if the Bucks would be as interested in Asik....as they might be in LIN.

No surprise that Morey is interested in Gannis just like Clutch said.

My mother works as house maid for Lebron. She told me that he's interested in coming to Houston when he goes into free agency.

Naw... I believe Morey is contacting Milwaukee for The Alphabet PERIOD... It's alot of money to spend for Ersan when he's not going to beat out TJ for the starting gig... And if he can't get The Alphabet _ he's not going to trade Milwaukee for anyone else on their roster.

Uh come on man. The past is passed, we are not enemies. Also Giannis is not really a Greek. And they are already teammates with Ilyasova, remember?

About the subject, I'm totally down for Ersan Ilyasova+Giannis for Omer Asik. We can also throw Brewer.

That's awesome! I got a Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson tie a few years ago. Haven't found the right occasion to wear it, so it's still in my closet with the price tag on it. No lie! So...I believe you both, 'cause...wrestlers..
