Just curious do some of you actually think he is faking this OCD behavior. He just cleaned his house and put it in immaculate condition for the NYT interview. I don't. He must have a mental disorder to throw away a possible long lucrative NBA career for two years worth of guaranteed dollars.

Dude does not deserve a NYT's article. He doesn't have a "Cause" beyond himself. If he has a cause, so do MWP (World Peace) and Rodman (N Korea diplomacy).

No I don't believe he is faking anything.. But just the fact at the way he handled the issue is enough to bid him farewell and not worry about him anymore. He could have handled the situation better because Rockets were trying to make it work. He doesn't deserve any sympathy after what he did.
This is how Royce kept this con job going so long. The sincere but gullible kept buying into his b.s. and he was able to get away with it in grade-school through college. But when it came to being an adult and being responsible, the long-con ended. You notice in the article they dont talk about the 5 kids, 5 baby mamas, the strip clubs and dope usage. The guy is an asshat and is still looking for handouts. How this lazy bum is somehow the face of mental illness is beyond me. One things for sure, when the money runs out, you wont be seeing any bleeding heart articles about him because he has no one to blame but himself
