If being on a playoff contender meant that much to Asik, he never would have demanded a trade now would he? Send him wherever we can get most value for him. That is ALL there is to worry about.

I'd say the discussions with the Bucks are surrounding Lin. Lin for Giannis Antetokounmpo and Knight or Ridinour. Caron Butler could be use involved too as an expiring that Morey might be able to use.
Giannis is a really nice prospect, but he's raw and several years from realizing his potential. He's precisely the kind of player rebuilding teams want; he's young and he's got the talent to be great. I suspect we are interested in him for repackaging to get that 3rd star, and I suspect we'd have to give them more than Asik; perhaps a pick and/or prospects. Btw: everyone should read Carl's post about Greeks and Argentines. Funniest thing I've read in a while.

I think there is some merit to the OP. First of all we know Morey would love to have Alphabet. (who wouldn't?) And I suspect Morey is trying to talk Hammond out of Alphabet. I think there very well could be a deal on the table already that Morey is ready to accept that involves Lin going to Milwaukee for Ilyasova and an expiring contract (Ridnour or Udoh). With that as the backdrop setup I could very easily see Morey and Hammonds discussing Sanders/Giannis for Asik and making it one bigger deal. Morey MAY be willing to take on Sanders deal to get Giannis and Hammonds MAY be motivated to get out from under Sanders' deal while he can. If so, Hammonds would probably like to figure out how to do that trade without Giannis obviously but Morey is probably holding him hostage for either their 2014 pick or Giannis. Bottom line: I think it is highly unlikely Morey can pull this off. However, I think Morey can trade Lin for Ilyasova plus an expiring contract (either Udoh or Ridnour).
Sanders is a poison pill contract, I think? Wouldn't that all but make a trade involving Sanders impossible? As for the rest of these dudes, they seriously need to stop. The jokes are getting old, as is the "you're a liar/troll" righteousness. The OP might be legit, even if he's simply repeating something that a relative---uncle, aunt, second cousin, whomever---overheard, and a trade that isn't likely to occur (but I wouldn't bet against Morey). And if the OP isn't legit, hey...............let it go.
I wouldn't doubt it... Morey and plenty other GMs spent alot of time watching him over in Europe this year. The Alphabet is the NUMBER ONE player I would like the Rockets to trade for. The kid can play ALL FIVE POSITIONS on the court. Olajuwon would have a field day working with this kid.
