Is it just me or are the Warriors incredibly overrated?

Why do people think Charlotte's horrible? They have the 3rd best defense in the league, they are young, and well coached

With one of their starters out for the last 3 weeks and their backup PG out for the last month. I'm not saying they're contending for a championship this year, but they are certainly not the joke you're sort of making them out to be when at full strength.

And you have to expect those sorts of responses when you use "They lost to the Bobcats" as proof that they are overrated, when we've lost to teams with worst records than Charlotte already this season. Though many in mainstream sports media would say we were overrated in the offseason, so there's that.

We obviously have greater depth, as many have pointed out (which is a blessing). Which is why I have said "when healthy." When healthy, they are a force. If they are at full strength, I think they are a better team than last year. If not, I think they aren't quite as good b/c they opted for an upgraded core rotation over maintaining depth.

ETA: We also lost 2 games we shouldn't have during that stretch, and I wouldn't be shocked if we'd lost more if Chandler hadn't been able to come back. There's no shame in that.

Apparently not. He's out another 2 to 4 weeks. Which is bad for fantasy players who have him. (i.e. me)

Agreed. He does so many things for them that are both reflected and not reflected on the stat sheets.

Many people might have the same opinion in the middle of the last season.
However, who could predict the Warriors did beat Denver months later?
So, it's not wise to make such a conclusion at such an early stage.
