Is it just me or are the Warriors incredibly overrated?

    Losing Jack was big, you're absolutely right, but he was not their second best player. David Lee was an All star and All-NBA, so that made him their second best. Now their second best is probably Iggy.

    I think perimeter D and toughness were needs for them when they lost Jack, but they addressed them by singing Iggy. I think Iggy is a much better overall player than Jack. So overall, I think they improved in the offseason.

    Plus, with Barnes playing minutes at stretch 4 and Klay playing mostly the 2, there are plenty of minutes to go around for Barnes/Klay/Iggy.

    We should definitely waits until Iggy comes back until we make judgements on this team. He's probably the 2nd or 3rd most important player on the Warriors.

    They need to trade David Lee that guy is too soft. In fact that entire team is soft besides Iggy. Guess that's why he's super important.

    Warriors basically replaced Jack/Landry for Iguodala. Imagine last season without Jack/Landry..it would be hard for the warriors to be as good as they were or they might even have a hard time making the playoffs. Same thing right now, without Iguodala they are not an elite team. But if they have their full squad this season, they are better than what they were last season. They were so good before the injuries. Barnes is no Iguodala.

    Exactly they are soft..lol I laughed when posters were saying the Warriors are a bunch of thugs/dirty players. Can't be a thug when youre soft...this season they got AI, Green and Jermaine O'neal, now those guys are not soft.

    BTW Draymond Green is out indefinitely after tonight's game...Warriors bunch is thin...Rockets have a much deeper team than the Warriors.

    Plus...with Iguodala out, Curry can't play off the ball. If you watched the warriors last season, when Jack came into the game, it would Jack that was the primary ball handler, and Curry got to play his natural position the SG, he came off screens to catch and shoot. Now with Igoudala out and their back up point guard Douglas not playing...stephen curry doesn't have the luxury of moving with the move for those catch and shoots. When Iguodala comes back and plays the Jack role, now the Dubs will have 2 guys (curry and thompson) roaming around and coming off screens to catch and shoot.

    They did more than just add Iggy though, they lost Jack and Landry, two of the better bench players in the nba. Their starting lineup wasn't the crash hot last year, but they had one of the strongest benches in the nba, this year they're quite weak there.

    Iggy is their Parsons. We looked pretty bad without Parsons too.

    This. Only difference is that Chandler is a poor mans Igoudala.

    GSW = Igoudala or bust.

    HOU = Parsons or bust.

    No he doesnt, of the starters, Klay spends most of the time with the backups. Curry comes in 2nd, Iggy seems to play a lot of time basically subbing in Curry's place with the other starters while Klay and Curry rotate through the bench.

    There really isn't a single bench rotation used more than occasionally (once?) involving Iggy

    Contrast that to Parsons who appears in every other bench lineup we run

    I honestly don't think Curry is a top 10 player. Same goes for Harden.

    Not sure about over rated but I don't understand why nationally they are getting so much hype over the Rockets. We have the better 2 players in Harden and Dwight, over Iggy and Curry. Also Dwight and Harden are both more marketable yet when I watch national news or some national podcast like Hangtime or NBA lockdown, I hear them talk way more about the Warriors. It is kind of weird and I don't understand it. It's not like Golden State is a major market.

    Warriors are overrated by a lot of fans, not really overrated by the national media.

    They are media darlings though. Probably because they are the whitest team in the NBA after the Timberwolves.

    There's the 3 "no **** sherlocks", LBJ, Durant, CP3

    Then if you really value two way players and judging players by 20 games, George.

    Then who do you have ahead of Harden? Westbrook mayyybe and?
