actually I was going to offer him this deal, but I prefer not to get into betting money online for any reason. I would rather bet a moniker change of the winner's choosing. but my prop is much different than his: Here it is: the kings went 28 and 54 last year. as of today, the kings are 5-13. If the kings win 24 more games this year and go 29-53, he loses the bet, and I get to change his moniker, if they win 22 games or less and go 27 and 55, then I lose the bet and he can change my moniker. if they win 23 games exactky it is a push and nobody loses.
I'll agree to that, provided Clutch can do that and we make it temporary, say a name change for two months following the season.
Your bet would essentially be that Rudy Gay doesn't make one of the very worst teams in the league...even worse? Bold proposition, sir.
yeah, because i have the most to lose. yall are on a freeroll basically because NOBODY knows yall that well. I kinda would rather do this with j sizzle or a_3po or somebody more well known. but i guess a bets a bet.
Any way Chuck Hayes buyout by Toronto and return to Houston? Just like Aaron Brooks and Marcus Camby did.
Gay Cousin Williams. Now is that 1 person or 3? If Kings have kept Vasquez, I would actually like that team. But now they would need another trade for a vet PG. Is Prof Miller available?
i haven't read the thread yet but i can't believe the much foretold rudy gay trade has already happened. watching it scroll by and wondering which team would soon pop on my tv screen was exciting. the fact it was sacramento was seemingly so predictable. i just saw chuck hayes gets to finally escape sacramento. i was happy to see him get his money but hate that he had to go to that team. i'm not sure toronto is any better but the situation has to at least be a little better and maybe they'll actually play him.
The thread title should be either "Greivis Vasquez traded to Toronto" or "Pattrick Patterson traded to Toronto" or "Chuck Hayes traded to Toronto" No sense having the fourth best player being the headliner. I would be really happy if Toronto bought out Chuck and we got him back on the cheap!
Another team bites the dust. The sooner this clown is out of the league the better for every team dumb enough to buy into him.
he could be a good sixth man, ala a jr smith. he can provide a spark of the bench oand scoring ability. as a starter he is an ineffecient chucker.
He definitely has the ability to be a contributor. But if he won't stop his high usage, chucking ways, he'll get a slue of small short contracts, and then be out of the league in a few years. Of course, sometimes might take the risk of giving him 4 and 32, which would probably be a mistake, but some dinosaur might do it on the basis of counting stats. Wouldn't surprised to see him as a solid contributor in Dallas in a few years. Seems like the sort of veteran reclamation project they like to go after.
