tonight he was the PG on the court and the Rox won. That's about all you can say. Nelson put up numbers around his season average- a few more points, a few less assists, so I'm not sure you can say Bev shut him down. On the offensive end Bev really didn't do much- in fact the Magic didn't even bother to defend him most of the time, he was just a non factor.

They should sit Lin next game against the Blazers with his injury he could be a liability on the court. Bev has got this!! Bev shut Lillard down the last time they met and he will shut him down again.

Don't worry Lin's going to be traded so Bev can shut Lillard and himself down again.

Pat is always full of energy and he did an impressive job in controlling turnovers.

Clyde said that Bec was shooting well from behind the 3pt line. Maybe 33% is good for a point guard in this system. Shooting way better than Lin was last year around this time from 3. Clyde said that Lin was "abysmal" from three last year. Clyde is a hall of famer. He knows good shooting.

In all honesty it's doesn't matter there really is nothing that will cause Bev to lose the starting spot. There is not stat or stat change. Mchale like Bev as a starter because it means more touches for Harden, Howard and Bang. And those guys like Bev as a starter for of course the same reason. As long as the team wins that's the way it will stay. In fact even if the team loses a bit it will not change. Bev makes the other starters and Mchale happy and more comfortable. That's what is important. It's about FIT. Proof will be in the pudding as they say. We are going for a Chip!

    Prediction time.

How many points is Pat gonna drop on Lillard?
    I'm going 14pts 4-5 FG 2-3 3FG 5 assists

I'm saying that Lillard MIGHT get 20pts with most of those points being dropped on Lin when Bev needs a Breather.

In fact I'm gonna keep track of how many points Lillard scores against Bev and how many he drops on Lin's Melon. I don't want Bev's defensive game stats skewed by Lin's shoddy defense.

Btw I figure Lin plays less than 20minutes tonight due to Sampson knowing how to handle Lin's turnover antics.

Sampson's half interview goes something like..."amazing what happens when you play Defense. We're trying to win ball games. Usually when one team scores more points than the other team that team often wins."

Looking forward to this one !!

you actually think Beverly is going to get 4 free throw attempts????? we're on game 23 and Beverly has only taken 4 free throws (none over 4) in 3 games! in other words, Mr. Give the Ball to Harden isn't going to be driving to the basket much to get free throws.
