it's the reality of the situation. the only reason the raptors want to trade rudy gay is the same reason the clippers, portland, new york traded zach randolph. basically because he had a stigma. rudy gay is far better than you and others want to portray him as: basically, the raptors assumed the position and made a ridiculous move because their crackerjack gm thinks he's a roster building genuis (and what has he do to show that?) absolutely nothing. these analytic gms are swindling their organizations with fancy math. it will take a decade before these guys all get fired for making stupid moves like this one.

ummmm, Hayes may be a buyout candidate for Uriji. If he knows Morey will give Hayes our MLE then he could talk to Hayes about getting bought out. It would probably save Toronto another $3 million. We give Hayes the "Aaron Brooks" treatment, sign him to the MLE with a promise that he gets at least the league minimum for next year.
rudy gay got his contract a year before the league began the lockout. so yeah, he got his deal. at the time he had one dozens of big games for the grizzlies. btw, that harden deal looking REAL tasty. great move morey.
