I agree. There was still time to run the ball down the field. That would have opened up the passing game.
In other news a very exciting SEC championship game on CBS right now. Auburn 28 - Missouri 27. Great Game.
Let's assume thats true right. Does that mean you freaking concede the game by never throwing the ball down field? You are losing the game by 10 pts in the 4th quarter.
I had no problem with any of the play calls. This game was on Case. He was off all day. If he's on, Longhorns win... Maybe easily. That said... I do t think he has this ability to be "on" necessarily. He was good against OU of course... But the. That was some strange playcalling on OUs part. It's a QB game... And Mack stopped developing them/getting them.
Case wasn't that off. He's just really not good. Gray was the stud of the season and he went out. Pretty big bummer.
There is just no way of knowing. He's such a good salesman that you wonder if he can convince Patterson and Powers to give him another chance with yet another housecleaning of the staff.
uhh...what? How is that possible that an unranked UT faces Oregon. Oregon has something to prove for next year's voters, they are going for 100 points on us.
The Alamo Bowl has the first pick for the Pac-12 after the BCS bowls, so that's likely going to be Oregon. And regardless of who might have a better record, the Alamo Bowl will want Texas so that they can sell as many tickets as possible.
Ideally, Alamo Bowl actually doesn't like Texas. Because we're so close, we don't fill hotel rooms and the like for San Antonio, so its not as appealing as the Oklahoma schools or Texas Tech or teams like that. But the Okie schools will both be gone and Tech/K-State suck, so they are basically stuck with Texas.
