Hopefully the LOF obsessive, Lin hater brigade of people like you follow the LOFs to whatever team he goes to.

You really think Lin is more important to the future of the Rockets than Beverley? Bev was on some pre-season lists as Candidate for DPOY. The chemistry that he and Harden and Especially Howard have is iron solid. You see Bev in almost every Howard interview joking and clowning around. Bev is probably Howard's best friend on the team. Howard calls him "Trinidad James" :)

Harden and Bev are perfect tonight The play making scorer and the lock down defender. And you have never seen Harden scream at Bev. Not once. Their chemistry at the 1 and 2 is a perfect fit. On the flip side how many numerous times have we seen Harden and Bang scream at Lin. Happens every game. Their Chemistry isn't right. Even Bang has said that Bev is thr perfect PG to start and sets the tempo. Chandler said this even he was considered Lin's best friend on the team early on when Lin came in as the "man" before the Harden trade.

Lin will always have his share of detractors no matter where he goes. All famous people have their fans and haters. Don't fool yourself.

Most Rocket fans don't want Lin to get traded. If you are someone that does then I would call that a red flag as to where your allegiances lie.

Jeremy Lin has been doing very well for us in his role as 6th man, and if he keeps this up all year is actually a candidate for the 6MOY award. Why would we want to trade that, for a guy with a salary of 8M per? Two more years of this kind of production is great value. And to be honest, I think Jeremy belongs on a winner rather than on a team where he would be the alpha dog but playing .500 ball alone (see: Dragic, Goran). Once he got his 3pt% up like we were all hoping he would, he instantly became a perfect fit on this team, now a good on AND off-ball player who can run the offense we need to run in order to contend for a championship. His on-ball defense will never be good, but his off-ball defense is significantly underrated and he has a lot of court awareness on D to play that Chris Paul style defense that gets a lot of steals.

True Rockets fans are Jeremy Lin fans too. Clutchfans just distorts the entire landscape of what ya'll think we are; in reality the LOF's and LOH's are the most insignificant specks on the map.

You're wasting everybody's time now with your nonsense. Maybe you should not post on Lin for awhile and see what happens when he comes back and how he does.

AB has comfortably taken over the 6th man role. Besides you don't pay a 6th man 8mil per year an defintely not 15 mil for one year. That's what lin is making next year 15 million. You pretty much have to at least start to justify that amount of Money and with the way Bev has played and the love and chemistry he has with Coach Mchale, Sampson and the other starters Lin isn't gonna start he had long as PBev is locking them down.

You didn't address any of the points in the post because you know they are all true and factual.

If Lin goes for another PG ten Beverley's starting role will evaporate. He will sit on the bench behind brooks until traded. LOB fans don't realize that Beverley is playing so poorly his job is in jeopardy if Lin is traded.

Dude Bev has been the starter since the OKC series. I have a gut feeling that Coach Mchale probably wanted to start Bev BEFORE the playoffs but because we had the Asian Tour they decided to wait. Jeremy has even said McHale told him long before pre-season that Bev was gonna be the starter and he was getting benched. Trust me Bev's starting job is safe.

Bev's numbers this year are even better than they were last year when he took the starting job from Lin.

Like me? I only hate the obsessive, over the top and illogical fans. And even they haven't made me appreciate Lin any less. I want him to stay.

Did you count Lins 5 minute start into those numbers?

What were his numbers in the 4 games he started without Harden?

What were his numbers starting and off the bench in games Harden did play?

What about opponents faced in the different games?

Lots and lots of stuff I would want to know before I go into a real argument or discussion about the subject and football is on so I don't care to look it all up right now.

I might be wrong I just think it was disingenuous to say he has undoubtedly played better in starts than versus the bench when there have been so many different variables to consider when comparing the numbers.

    Those numbers are per 48.

Those questions are your arguments. You need to prove them, not me.

AB is like nate robinson. when he's on, he's on. when he's off, he's off. they take a lot of... "questionable" shots which are great when they go in, but when they don't, it can be disastrous.

if jeremy produces in his role (which he has been doing this year), who cares about the money dictating what role the player plays. i'd pay 8 million in salary cap for his current production.
