why is lin on the bench? its not because of his turnovers or his defense. its because the ball is in harden's hands way too much to be in lin's so they moved him to the bench to provide more time for him to run the offense away from harden.

when lin was starting and bev was coming off the bench, lin went out early at the 5-6 min mark that is because they let harden play til 8-10 min mark where lin can come back in for harden. now they just bring lin in for bev and take harden out whenever they need to.

plus bev's defense against quicker guards is better than lin but bev can't guard 2 guards. lin can take on smaller 2 guards thus allowing all three of bev, lin, and harden to be on the court at the same time.

and I am pretty sure Olajuwon likes lin.

as far as turnovers go, lin attacks the basket and is prone to turning the ball over when attacking the basket. bev does not attack the basket. the "running the offense" is throw the ball to harden and stand in the corner. you can't commit a lot of turnovers running that offense.

bev and lin are two different types of players.

the reason bev is averaging 35 mpg is that brooks is the backup and Garcia the only other wing that plays any minutes. you see brewer play a few minutes. that's what happens when a rotation player goes down and you don't have someone that you can drop in. lin could swing and play SG if needs be so you could have a rotation at the 1/2 of bev/lin/harden/Garcia. that was why brooks didn't get major time until lin or harden got hurt. so once lin comes back in and plays his 30 mpg, bev's minutes will drop.

Since lin had been out the Last 5 games the opposing starting PGs have only averaged
    17ppg on only 44% FG

Check the math if you don't Believe it. Bev is hold the opposing starting PGs to under 50% shooting since Lin had been out these last five games. AB is instant offense between those two you don't really need anything else. That's why Lin is gonna get traded with Asik.

17ppg on 44%FG for a PG will get you a nice contract in the NBA.

no the reason lin may get traded is because they don't have any mid-level contracts so if they want someone making more than 8.5 mil (say around 11-12) then there's only so many bev/brooks/dmo/gsmith contracts that the other team would want.

I like Bev's defense and energy. But he is not a starting caliber NBA point guard if he has such a low assist as a starter playing over 30 minutes per game. He had only one assist in 2 playoff games last season. That doesn't make the grade of a starting pt guard. He has zero assist again last game even though the team won with Harden and Howard both beasting. But how often you can win games against top teams if the starting pg has so low a playmaking skill?

I don't mean I don't appreciate Bev. We can use him as a defense specialist just like Brewer. If Bev is not scoring nor assisting, and the opponent's SG or SF scoring at will against Harden, why not let Harden be the pg and let Brewer be the stopper. When Harden takes a rest, Bev can come in and Brewer be sub by Garcia or Casspi for scoring.

We would probably be 5-0 in those games if Lin would not sit courtside. if he doesn't have the balls to play, then stay home and give the active roster more space to recline. Have you ever sat in a tiny car for a long road trip? It can hurt after a while. My old roommate studied for the MCAT once so I know a thing or two about medical stuff. Just because Lin is too cheap to buy a ticket, he is hurting the team.

This next game against the magic is gonna be easy.

Pat just has to shut down a scrub in Nelson.

A Solid two way guy like Pat will have no problem locking down Jameer.

    Prediction:
Pat scores season high 16pts and 6 assists 1 block 2 steal 50%FG

    Jameer Nelson: 2-6 6pts 0-3 3FG 1 Reb 3+TOs

    Book It!!

    Win number # 15 tonight!!!

    12/6 Curry 5-14 22 pts 5 assists (next!!)
    12/6 Nelson 5-12 15pts 4 assists

    Pat Roasted Jameer tonight!!
He not there to score or assists he's just there to lock down his man.

Nelson tonight was: 15 pts 4 assists on only 5/12 FG 4/6 3FG

Pat had a come up in offense tonight in addition to the excellent defense
    Chipped in a solid: 9pts 3 assists 3/9 FG 2/8 3FG 1 block With ONLY 1 TO.

Bev takes care of the ball and that's what we need in a point guard just like Bull said.

    11/5 Lillard 22 pts 5 assists
    11/7 Blake 14 and 2
    11/9 CP3 14 and 13
    11/11 Lowrey 16 and 2
11/13 Woten 18 and 11 with 10 Rebs (Woten got lucky, abnormal game)
    11/14 Felton 8 and 7 (locked down!)
    11/19 Bradley 11 and 0 (that's right 0 assists!)
11/20 Ellis 37 and 8 (Bev had to guard him so he was having to guard a bigger SG. fluke)
    11/23 Rubio 8 and 7 ( Locked down!)
    11/25 Conley 10 and 10 ( Locked down!)
    11/27 Teague 6 and 4 (Locked down!)

12/2 Burks 9-18 21pts 6 assists (playing I denver homecooking and thin air fluke)
12/4 Dragic 6-11 19 only 2 Assists 4 steals (two non called fouls)
    12/6 Curry 5-14 22 pts 5 assists (next!!)
