To get a good deal for the future? Definitely, there is no doubt about that. Yes, even a mid-to late first round pick. That is the only way the Knicks can salvage this season. They wouldn't even have enough to get their pick back, which is what they really need.
Really? We haven't exactly handled crap teams recently. And who cares if we should win easy, blowouts are fun to watch. Always nice to see what our end of bench guys can do.
I don't think it's many Rockets fans that want him. No doubt some do, but I think it's mostly the Knick fans around here wishing they could dump the albatross and get their savior back in return.
Rockets fans don't want him, it's pretty much Lin fans who want a Lin+Asik swap for Melo so Lin can his team.
I wonder who is more upset at this result between the Knicks and Celtics. The Knick fans (because they are obviously horrible...) Celtic fans (They are 10-12...so much for tanking in this horrible division...)

I wonder if the Knicks would be this bad with a healthy Tyson Chandler and Carmelo out with an injury.
Brad Stevens is what you call a great coach. He's making the Celtics competitive with a bunch of rookies and no names. And Rajon Rondo hasn't even played yet. I bet the Celtics management are now wishing they signed him next year instead of this year so that they would have been able to build with Rondo, Randle, etc.
Last time they played it was pretty ugly in KD's favor, but PG is on a different level this year. The matchup should be good fun.
Durant: "George who??" But really, Durant is really much better than George. The gap b/t Lebron to Durant is big. The gap b/t Durant and the next best player is just as big.
