Actually Jimmer would be perfect for this team. His only elite skill is catch and shoot. He could actually play PG with Harden handling the ball and he could slide to the 2 guard when Harden sits down. He would be perfect. Since Lin is probably getting traded with Asik getting Jimmer makes more sense than anything. I say a Jimmer for Montejunas trade straight up.
I agree about getting teams to make bids, but Morey also has a "reserve not met" in place. If he doesn't get the bids he wants, Asik is staying.

just a thought but, ramon sessions ending contract and cody zeller? or sessions, biyombo and an unprotected pick. the cats bet on themselves making the playoffs and the rockets bet on them not making the playoffs while getting a backup center in biyombo. either way we can probably move this package with lin at the deadline for rondo or some other big haul.
Oh my God dude that is awful! Never do you trade a gifted 7 footer for a 'catch and shoot' role player. Man I cant believe this would even be mentioned. As far as Rondo goes, he may not be a highlight reel offensively he is very good on the defense, he is very good in the clutch and he is a leader on the floor. IMO things this team needs more than scorers. I would totally love him on this team and Asik/Bev/Garcia or Casspi/Picks/Canaan/Covington etc... etc... Morey has an obscene amount of options to make a solid offer without having to include Lin.
one thing ive learned since Morey came on board is there is no point in guessing. Whatever move he makes will surprise us all anyways
