I see some Aaron Rodgers & Andrew Luck in Bridgewater.

    Teddy Bridgewater, Houston Texan

These people clearly have not watched Bridgewater play.

If they spent some time studying his tape, these foolish comparisons would not arise.

I'm just tired of hearing that Bridgewater is the second coming to Montana and then I watch him play and he's completely underwhelming. What am I missing? I'm more impressed with Hundley, Kevin Hogan, the qb from NIU. Hell even Franklin from Mizzou looked better than Bridgewater, why is everyone saying he's good just because espn said so? This sounds like Jake Locker all over again

Should be Clowney. But my guess is Teddy.

A few months ago nobody gave a **** who Bridgewater was because the Texans were supposed to make the playoffs. Bridgewater has been considered the #1 QB in the draft for a long time and the reason why this board seems to be on him now is because he's in the mix for our pick. If anything I feel his stock nationally is not as high as it was even a few months ago. That's just a feeling though.

    What??

I'm not sure you have watched either Teddy or Jake in college. Polar opposites.

 have ever watched him play? I'd rather keep Case as the starter than waste the #1 pick

Excellent assessment. This is clearly what I saw. The only things I would add is even though he is lite, he is strong. He can take a hit and bounce right back up. Also he seems to get better with pressure.

Also all of the skills you mentioned are some of the most important skills needed in a NFL QB. I know Manziel looks amazing running all over the field and making miracle passes but that just doesn't work as well in the NFL.

The biggest problems Case is having are the best qualities of Bridgewater and yet he is more mobile than Case.

Bridgewater is the best of Schaub and Case merged together only he is better than both. The only negative is he does seem to be less accurate the longer the throw but it's not bad. Just not great. Plus the guy just turned 21.

He said in an interview not too long ago that he currently weights 222.

Add another 10-15 lb's to get in the 235-240 range and he's the perfect size.

To be totally honest, it was a total random projection of the type of player I see him becoming once he plays in the NFL. Just not amounting to/having much Pro success. My comparison had nothing to do with who I think he looks/plays like in the NFL. The good Josh Freeman was a solid QB, but tremendously regressed under Schiano and Co. hence leading to the trade.

really?? seriously? nothing to do with that at all...but just my projection of what kinda success he would have...ur idiotic for bringing up race!

They were saying the other night he was 195 max, not saying he shouldn't be the pick just what I heard.
