Durant barely beat the rocket last year and lost in the second round without Westbrook, even if he a superstar it take a team to win. And IMHO he not a superstar yet....
Thats why this guy suggesting we need to give up our starting power forward for Rondo seems more damaging
OMG...this thread has gone down the drain... People think Durant isnt a star. People think harden and dwight are not stars while they are fully content with saying Paul George is.
Then you'd better trade Harden for him. If Lin and Harden is a bad fit, Rondo and Harden would be even worse.
He a star not a superstar. And he hasn't taken his team to the cf or final by himself. Dwight and Lebron have.

Why do you not trust that an offense that spaces the floor with 3 point shooters can win a championship? Why do people still think that the 3 point shot is some kind of novelty? Rudy T and the Rockets, then the leading 3 point happy team, won titles by surrounding Hakeem and later Clyde with shooters, including shooting bigs like Horry. The Miami Heat, who won the last two championships, used a pace and space attack that had 3 point shooters all over the court, including at PF and even C sometimes (Battier, Lebron, Miller, Bosh). Even last season's runner up, the Spurs, often went with a 3 point happy lineup with shooters around Duncan and Parker (who has been shooting 3s of late also). You don't have to have 5 guys shooting 3s on the floor at all times, but 3 point shooting is very useful and important-- much more so that you people seems to realize.
Exactly. No doubt Rondo is a superstar but he can not fit the system the rockets are trying to mold. Well at least i believe so.
Carl I'm not saying 3s are bad, every team has 3 point shooters & we will still have plenty, bev hits a decent amount but it's not like Reggie miller is leaving the starting line up for Rondo
Well then Dwight should be consider a superstar. He took his team to the final. Durant had harden and Westbrook. I would say that was a easyer way. Hey It only my view and since I am posting from USA free speech !!!!
Wait I thought a allstar was a star? I'm the biggest Dwight fan in the world, and he is not a superstar. He doesn't have a post game and he is a bad freethrow shooter, you can't be a superstar if you are that limited.
