Seems like its money from Dwight every time he takes it. He should do it more often.

    Why doesn't he do it?

ive been saying he should just make a simple move in the post every time....just stop facing up..it feels like a turnover every time...

The left handed hook is just about the only thing that still works for him. I think every other move he has to think; in that regard, the preseason workouts with Dream were detrimental to his post play, because now he's trying to change everything up. Not saying it won't eventually help him in the long run, but for now he sucks in the post.

its not really a hook, its more like a ffloater he starts low and guides it up to the basket..

Yeah, I don't think those are really hook shots.

Now D-Mo's 1960's - 1970's hookshot that he used was an ugly thing of beauty ...

I actually believe that Dwight is left handed naturally....I think I read that somewhere.

Yes, they said on a Rockets game earlier in the year that Howard is left handed and shoots freethrows right handed.

He's not Hakeem. He will never be Hakeem. He has to focus on doing what he can do well in the post, he just isn't fluid like Hakeem, but then again nobody is. He doesn't have that lower body leverage like Yao had, he's gotta use his speed and quickness as much as he can in the post.

With that said, the refs are absolutely killing him, it's an absolute joke how you can just body the post player up for a few bumps and then fall over and be rewarded for being inferior physically. It isn't rewarded in other sports and basketball shouldn't be any different

Dayum we get away with a lot of traveling. I counted four steps by Howard on that last highlight (the full court pass from Harden).

Hey, I ain't complaining though

he very rarely gets a decent entry pass when he's in good position. plus the team tends to inexplicably ignore him in the post for long stretches, such as the entire 2nd half last night.

I wanted to discuss this but I didn't wanna create a new thread.

I don't understand why they go away from him when he is dominating the other team. They should keep feeding him the ball which will open up 3s for this team which they can't live w/o.

Dwight Howard is left handed, in one of the earlier Rockets broadcast, Bullard said that in high school or something Dwight broke his left wrist then started playing with his right hand.

LeBron is also left handed but shoots the ball with his right.
