why is that? It's not dumb at all, very helpful actually..it allows teams to know exactly how much each player is running. They can condition them more efficiently by knowing what range of distance they need to train at. Guys who don't play much have a better idea of how much to run on game days, so they can stay in shape.
Wasn't there an identical thread two weeks ago? Just last night the Golden State color commentator said Harden was masterful at positioning himself for outlet passes and breakaway dunks because he did not run end to end but stayed near the middle of the court. I find distance covered pretty irrelevant to quality of play.
