I'm pretty sure that's not possible, unless they manage to get a bowl game against another Big12 team.
Losing Spencer Drango for the season is much more significant than most people seem to realize. He's an ideal LT. Our best pass protector by far, and Petty's blind-side hasn't been nearly as clean since he went down. Being at home should make up for a lot.
Yes they will. NI losing opens up a spot and with a Baylor win they should get in. A michigan st win complicates it since that gives them an auto spot and ohio st will probably get an at large. Only 2 SEC teams can make it in which means you don't have to worry about 2 out of the 4 ahead.
calling me a disagrace because I want mack out and this is the most obvious way to see it happen? c'mon now.
Please go to the game and sit in the UT student section. Wear a burnt orange jersey and boo the longhorns. Please do that.
I don't boo the horns, I boo mack and the decisions he makes. (and I sit in the student section...since I'm a student) I like him as a person, but It's time for him to go. If he comes back next season here's the way it will go down, more or less (borrowing here from a guy on OB) aside...I'm sorry to baylor fans for bringing UT debate into this thread...I was just wishing y'all luck.
If OKST and Baylor win, I believe we're in line for the Cotton Bowl bid vs an SEC team. Which team from the SEC we end up playing.... Apparently there are a lot of possibilities. I've heard it could be LSU, Missou, Auburn, or South Carolina depending on how this weekend plays out.
I read from "multiple sources" last night that if OK State and Baylor both win: OK State to Fiesta; and Baylor to Sugar against SEC team.

Sugar Bowl is a 50-50 toss-up between Oregon and Baylor. If Baylor loses to Texas, that might be enough for Ducks.
— BCS Guru (@BCSGuru) December 7, 2013
 http://www.cbssports.com/collegefootball/bowls/predictions?ttag=gen10_on_all_fb_na_txt_0001 http://espn.go.com/blog/ncfnation/post/_/id/90340/non-aqs-to-be-shut-out-of-bcs
It seems the whole "we're disappointed to be trying to make the Rose Bowl" would be a discouraging statement for a BCS Bowl. I find it hard to believe the Sugar wouldn't take an 11-1 Baylor team that's just one state away over an Oregon team that's disappointed with a BCS game and is halfway across the country.
Ah that's right. I hadn't taken the NIU loss into account. Guessing its Bama, Missou, or Auburn that we would play in that case.
