After a poor effort at holding Harden accountable, McHale apparently did a great job holding Harden accountable during the last two days. Harden is playing intelligently on offense and giving effort on defense. McHale's coaching ability has been much improved over the last 48 hours.
Needs to be better with his minute allocation tho don't think Harden needed to play almost 40 mins tonight.
McHale thrrew Morey's computer stats in the trash and used his hall of fame eyeballs like a real coach.
McHale's 3 point shooting has regressed, though. He needs to get the team to hit a higher % of 3s in the next games or we'll never win a championship.
Its out of control how bad McHale's 3 point shooting offense has regressed. He has been scouted, we will never hit another three again.
Unfortunately, McHale's BBIQ and coaching ability will drop to negative numbers in the future. I predict it will happen with the Rockets next loss. If only McHale can keep his coaching ability constant all the time, the Rockets would be 82-0.
Game with Howard has not improved. Offense keep looking for him at the start and never at the end. Never any kind of previous movement, neither work after he passes the ball out. Offense overall looked very similar, with same ISOs at the end, but a weaker oposition during all the game. Harden also guarded a player who he fits better with, and Parsons had to get the SG. In other words, McHale and Harden noth will be terrible soon again, all of a sudden.
