Scored a sweet deal on flash seats for tonight's extraganza. Gonna root for the Rockets and my favorite non-Rocket, Steph Curry. Curry goes for 83 but the Rox win 128 - 127.

And Curry and Klay will go for 150. Please our perimeter D is atrocious ... made JJ Reddick look like MJ out there

Hope we hear some good new by game time. As it stands now...

    Asik - Day to day
    Parsons - Day to day
    Garcia - Day to day
    Lin - out
    Smith - out

Our last game against the Warriors Curry and Thompson put up 55 points and blew us out 108-78. That's with Lin and Harden putting up 21 points each. Harden shot 6-16 that night with Iggy on him. Iggy is still out so that improves our chances a bit.

Still, it could be a rough night.

Harden is going to go out there with a point to prove. I expect him to have a monster game and carry us to a win tonight.

If PB is the defender he is credited to be on this site, then he better show it tonight. But as the games go by its pretty evident he's a bench player and Lin should start over him.
Still hoping for the game where Mchale benches Harden for lack of effort on defense. Harden's act is disrespectful to his teammates, the fans and the game. I'm really surprised that Mchale puts up with it.

Not to be a pessimist, but it's going to be hard for Harden without Parsons or Lin on the floor. I can easily see GSW just packing the paint, hedging hard on picks, and putting a long defender on him all night.

And once the ball is out of Harden's hands... then what?

And even if Harden has a monster night, GSW is a 3 point shooting beast. And our perimeter defense is below average.

    GSW - 43.7% 3pt%, #1 in the NBA
    Houston - 37.2% Opponent 3pt%, #19 in the NBA

Unless we magically start defending the arc or GSW's shooters go half blind, we're going to get annihilated from the outside.

Bev needs to step up and make a major step forward as our premiere perimeter defender and limit curry's production. Harden just needs to make an effort on D. I think the pivotal match up is actually T-Jones on Lee. I hope T-Jones can have a great game and establish himself as a rising star at the 4.
