Thanks Sir... You made my head spin with that one... Lol.. If that's the case I like what you suggested... But I would rather the Rockets try to get Kelly and a pick instead of Chris...
He's thinking "Asik for Boozer" because he probably saw the Bulls (and Boozer) have one good game last night against a Wade-less (and bad-game Bosh) Heat.
Trading Asik will be a bit scary. At every other position, the drop-off in value when going to the bench is manageable. Without Asik, there will be a clear weakness in the Rockets interior for 15 min every game when Dwight is resting. Dwight is also coming off injuries - what if he gets injured? Already in this season, the Rockets have proven they can deal with an injury at every one of the other positions and still contend, but will that be true about the center position?
If he's left on the roster after the trade he'd most likely be first in line for a tryout along with Greg Smith. Also, possible that the Rockets acquire a PF in the deal which then could slide Jones back to the bench as the backup 5. Lastly, its widely known that the Rockets would probably pursue someone like Okafor later in the season IF/when Phoenix bought them out so they could join a contender much like last year with the Brooks deal. And Camby should be ready to re-join the team sometime around February. The Rockets will find a way to man the backup 5, but D-Mo would certainly get an opportunity if he isn't already getting that tryout this next week with Asik sidelined with his "Thigh Contusion".
no lol its called moving out a high salary low moral guy that isnt producing for cap and upgrading at a needed position
Very unlikely to happen directly. Would have to be a 3 team deal almost certainly. Sure they'd love Deng, but would be an extremely difficult trade to get accomplished for many different reasons.
anderson is almost untouchable have you seen the guy lately??? dominating play at the PF position. Larry sanders wont be moving to the bench anytime soon for the bucks so Ersan not coming and Millsap got his team 3rd in east even though he isnt playing at the level of terrance jones this sesaon.
Milsap + a first is a pipe dream for Asik. Guy is not a superstar. Bargnani of the Knicks is actually playing well, he outplayed Dwight in NY and can be a stretch 4 and can also play backup C.
I would even include our 2014 1st rd pick, along with Omer Asik and Terrence Jones, if it would land us Serge Ibaka.
