I think this is a toss up game, regardless of Parsons playing or not. Either team can win. Will depend on who's 3s are falling and who's more committed on defense. Also, I dislike Mark Jackson a lot, but he's impressed me a bit with his out of bound plays and just plays in general to get his shooters open. So I'll probably pay some attention to the coaching matchup.

Considering that injuries have "limited" and made unavailable some of our players, Warriors do have the better advantage.

Excited for this game. I am excited to see how much detail was put into fixing the issues over the last 2 games. Don't just use the pnr to score but to also get low post position for Dwight. Change it up.

Defense I will have a close on eye on James Harden and if he has looked at his positioning on defense. Fixing that will make him less of a liability. Also extend the rotation to feature Brewer, throw different defenders at Klay.

    Also attack David Lee.

I have a feeling that the Rockets will win this one. I hope McHale starts with a small lineup. Put Garcia on Curry and Casspi on Klay.

Since you said small lineup so i presume Tjones will drop to the bench if you're starting Garcia and Casspi together , so that's mean Bev will be on Barnes and Harden on Lee ,

I am more optimistic about our chance in this game than Utah/Suns (which really felt like a trap game), but only because I can't see Harden and Howard having another bad game.

Best slowing down of Curry I've seen this season is by Miami, used both Cole and Chalmers to trap and double team Curry to remove the ball from his hands. I think Bev and Harden can do something similar here.

I forgot to add, I don't think we want to go small. Warriors are pretty good small, especially if our going small gives them the excuse to minimize Lee's PT, which we don't want b/c his poor defense actually hurts them.

Not really. What I had in mind was something like this: Harden would Play the PG (what he does anyway) and TJones and Dwight play their big men. This leaves Harden on Barnes, which probably is not the best possibility. However, in the absence of Chandler, I think it is the best possibility. This way Bev and AB will come from the bench replacing Harden and Casspi and Cisco take turns to fill the void.

I know that it is a totally temporary solution, but IMO the best against this particular team when playing without Chandler and Lin.

Rockets lose easily tonight I'm afraid. Loss by 30 . This weak 3ball drive offense was exposed by suns by deny defensive pressure

I hope we lose until our problems get fixed, us winning will only cause people to think we are going to be fine despite some very serious flaws.

I expect a statement game from Harden. He's taken a lot of flak recently so I'm sure he'll want to prove a point to his critics. I expect to see effort on both sides of the floor and for him to take over the game when it comes down to the wire.

He's going to be fired up.

Rockets win in a close game.

I don't think so. There was a problem. Harden did not hit the 3balls. That is OK and it happens. However, the rest of the team did not take enough 3pt shots. They would if the ball had moved better, but it didn't. But there is nothing wrong with the system.

The Rockets made 88 attempts from the field and out of those 31 were 3-pointers. The 3pt% was 29 and the FG% 35.2. In other words the success rate of other that 3pt shots were just about the same as 3pt shots. In such case, shoot 3pt shots because you get more points for every hit. With 40% shooting from the 3pt range, the Rockets would have won. Meaning, Harden, instead of 0-10 had shot 4-10. Nothing extraordinary.

    Gut feeling -

Rockets win by a decent margin (some 15-20 pts)!

    Rockets 124 : Warriors 107
