QB's in this draft will most likely suck. And we don't have the coaching in place to make them not suck.

I think we should go after a defensive player who can play alongside JJ Watt. I think we should go after all defensive players in this draft. Its the only chance we have at ever matching up to Luck.

I think some O-Line help wouldn't hurt. Late round RB wouldn't be bad either with Tate probably leaving.

But I agree, we need some pass rush and a cover corner.

Those who think Bridgewater will suck are crazy. He has no talent at his Skill positions. Scans the field and has a quick release with plus arm strength. He is also a guy who has improved every year as well.

I kind of like what I've seen from D. Johnson, wouldn't mind sticking with him as the #2 next year. There will likely be plenty of solid #2/3 RBs to pick from after the draft as well.

Cutler might be available.... I would feel safer trading down getting an O-lineman. Grab best qb available in the 3rd and sign smoking jay...

I'd go for that in a heartbeat...but we'll have 10 million in dead money due to Schaub. And Cutler will demand at least 15 million. We cant afford 25 million of our cap getting dedicated to the QB position. Damn Schaub. :(

You just went and made that account so you could quote someone sharing your projection that Bridgewater will "at least" be a top 5 QB..... Admit it.

    Hahahaha

we have to draft bridgewater..if he becomes great and ends up playing for the jaguars...i will never forgive rick smith...we could draft a defensive player with the 1st pick in the 2nd round...i think we need a inside linebacker bad!...cushing played way too many downs when he was healthy

I don't get the want for Cutler. If you didn't like Schaub, why would you like Cutler who historically has thrown more INTs, has taken a lot more sacks, has has had nowhere near the accuracy or efficiency that Schaub did? Maybe if he was a young guy, but he's on the wrong side of 30. If Schaub wasn't a guy who could take you to a Super Bowl, then neither is Cutler. He's not a long term solution. A stop gap at best.

Oh yea, big time. You've clearly shown off an incredible wealth of football knowledge by making wild predictions, then supporting them with your "guarantee" of success & talk of Bridgewater's "lazer beams."

Tell us more about how you know what you're talking about because you say you projected Russell Wilson as a first round pick. lol

Cutler is so similar to Schaub. They're the type of QBs that put you in QB Purgatory. They're not good enough where you feel like you're contenders because of them. But they are good enough where you can't get rid of them. They also make too much money so you lack the resources to upgrade around them.

At least if you draft a QB like Bridgewater, he'll only make like $5mil/yr so you can spend money surrounding him with a good cast.
