Maybe... but Keenum wouldn't have gotten as far without the current coach he has. As McLain just exclaimed in the article... "Keenum needs Kubiak!"
I watch Keenum go through his progressions and he is just slow. To his credit it's a lot to know. And it's not just 1st and 2nd options but you can have as many as 5 recievers to read through. Plus he has to see if they are open and then throw to were he expects them to be. That takes practice. Practice he didn't get much of at UH and on the practice squad. It is why he is better on the run because he has more time to look down the field and throw. If he had a full season I expect he would be better but this is his opportunity and he is lucky to have it. I think he will make a decent back up.
this is quite possibly the worst decision for this franchise and its future.. you have a hc and qb on their way out fighting to beat a team that they probably are better than despite the records when you have the #1 draft pick in your grasp. what does winning here accomplish?? schaub salvages a couple wins and causes the texans to miss out on both bridgewater/clowney..
WTH!!!!! Schaub ran for yardage!!!!! This is rigged!!!! Schaub has been punking us the whole time!!!!
