Man do you even comprehend the mood in the forum right now tinman? Terrible time to post Rocket pride when we been losing to scrub teams even with two "superstars" in the lineup.
This reminds me of: <iframe width="420" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/_Y8-B7yQDy4" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Sam Cassell ! Still my favorite player to come through houston, Lin next though, love the under dogs that can get buckets
Tinman keeps it real. It's alright, sometimes I don't understand his ways either, but I know this for sure... Clutch City is ingrained in his psyche. No matter what. You seriously think that 2 losses to the Jazz and Suns will rattle him?
Born and raised in Houston, Texas. I'm a Houston everything fan.. wouldn't matter if any of the teams never won another game. I'd still be here. I don't recognize anyone's right to "be a fan" if they aren't from here/haven't lived here for an appreciable amount of time.

I'm not from Houston, although I have been to Toyota Center. Believe me...you guys need out-of-town fans, badly. The game I went to in 2012 more than half the seats were empty; it was a close game between the Rox and Hawks and no one cheered when the Rox scored, everyone seemed more interested in their popcorn or free tee-shirts than they were in the game and even though it was a nail-biter. At one point late in the third quarter I stood up and cheered when Lowry hit a big shot and all the fans around me (most of them Houstonians, I would imagine) looked at me like I was from the moon. I'd say that on that particular day I had more team spirit in my little pinky finger than did the few hundred spectators in my section combined. Real fans cheer on their team; real fans care; doesn't matter if they're from Houston, or not. You're city seems great; but..do even half of them know that they have a basketball team; or, if they do, can they name even one player on it? Maybe it's the water in Houston, or, the air, that makes everyone sleepy and disinterested in their sports teams. I was very surprised at how disinterested and pathetic the (HOUSTON) crowd was. Meanwhile we Okies know how to root on our sports teams; and maybe what you guys need is a few ex-patriots to help you out, show you how it's done...
You "Okies" only have one major sports team. Check out Reliant on a Sunday. Houston is more of a football city.
Some guy who lives in Austin who has ****ted on Houston plenty of times, in plenty of threads wants to make a thread about Houston? Puh lease
