The more I think about it, the more I feel either Clowney or Bridgewater are worthy of the top pick. It is absolutely crucial that we get a top 2 pick so we can get at least one of them.

Worst case scenario is jags/falcons get the first 2 picks. Clowney/Bridgewater off the board just like that.

A QB is more important, yet Bridgewater may be another David Carr or Sam Bradford. I don't think Clowney will be a bust.

Case Keenum is an improvement over Matt Schaub - who in his prime was likely good enough to get us to an AFC Championship. However, the team has sucked too much to effectively see whether Keenum is our future. Still, he is decent enough for another year.

One amazing DE like Watt can be cancelled out. If you have Clowney also, there's a two-headed monster. Texans pass rush would be very scary!

Taking a player with motivation issues first in the draft is about the last thing we should do. Give me a less talented max effort player every single time.

I don't see Bridgewater being better than Case Keenum.

    I don't believe the hype.

If you get a chance to pair watt with clowney u do that. solves the pass rush for the next decade. If we get rid of wade we may be able to get good pressure with just 4 up front and everyone else in coverage and that is the recipe to beat an elite qb like brady or manning.

If there isn't an Andrew Luck type solid QB talent then you don't waste a 1st pick for him in my opinion. You can build on other parts of your team and find a decent one down the line. I think the number of 1st overall pick QB's that have become something is far less then the amount of busts that have happened.

If someone is really that high on Bridgewater and they will give a ton of picks to get him, then we make the deal and help ourselves in a lot of different positions.

I just want a franchise QB and they are never available during free agency (Manning fluke) you have to gamble on someone at some point in time. We saw for the past five years what an average QB can give you.

Clowney (6'6", 250 lbs) looks more like a OLB than a DE.

Wouldn't complain one bit. Put him on the outside opposite Mercilus, move Reed back inside opposite Cushing. Hell yea.

I still lean towards taking Clowney #1 overall. Him and Watt would be flat out incredible on the same line. Barr in a 3-4 is a sure thing too though. Not exciting, but if were to replace Kubiak with someone who doesn't run zone blocking, Matthews is understandable. Bridgewater is certainly the best QB prospect out there, but level of competition & hand size are legitimate concerns.

Bridgewater is starting to look like a more athletic Byron leftwich to me

How so genius, both are drop back passing QB's with small frames?

for starters.. bradford weighs 236. that is a small frame?

    bradford runs a 4.9 40.

    bridgewater runs a 4.54 40.

do your homework. you look real bad.
