Cant see them beating the Spurs, Rockets, Thunder, Clippers or Warriors in a playoff series. Not for real.

They need home court if they want to make noise in the playoffs. I just don't have that confidence in Liliard or LMA yet. But they're young. Future is bright. Batum needs to take that next step.

They have elite offense and so-so defense. I think injuries will be key to their playoffs success.

They do need more depth to be a contender. But their starting lineup is as good as anyone.

One thing for sure, they aren't trading us LMA for Asik. :(

It's still too early in the season for me. If they can maintain their record by Jan, I'll take them somewhat seriously.

They are a very good team and will make noise but I don't see them making it out of the west too many teams that are deeper or just as deep with more playoff experience. This is a really good confidence builder for a young team though, they're definitely coming.

LMA playing MVP ball so far. He seems a lot tougher than in years past.

stop throwing mvp around so often people. 1 game does not make an mvp title.

They'll fall back down to earth soon. They'll win about 45-50 games, make the playoffs as a 6-8 seed and get rolled in the first round.

I eagerly await the repeated Tony Parker for MVP posts in a week.

TP was #6 last year and #5 the year before in MVP voting. That's MVP level. Even with Duncan getting most of the press for SA.

Tony Parker could have even been 3rd last year if he stayed healthy all year.

Time to take the Trailblazers seriously? Well, they've only lost to the Rockets & Suns, and if you've been in GARM that's unacceptable & worthy of a team overhaul.

LMA is probably the front runner for MVP so far but with the NBA that changes on a weekly basis. Beginning of the season it was Kevin Love making noise for MVP, most likely Lebron will end up winning it again at the end of the season though.

Anytime you can give the award to someone that is 15th in PER, 7th in scoring, and on the 22nd ranked defense... just has to give it to em.

Quick history lesson from last year: 2nd in per, 2nd in scoring, and on the 3rd ranked defense.... received 0 votes to win the mvp while also being the best player on the best western team.

    Myopia.

    LeBron is the MVP

He was the MVP last year, and has been for a while now. Just like when they gave the award to Malone or Barkley instead of Jordan just because.

Aldridge is having a good year, but 23 and 10 with a 51% TS% on the 22nd rated defense, those are not MVP numbers.
